This cabin was simply amazing. It was so clean and the host communication was so quick and amazing. The view off the porch was so gorgeous and the lake was beautiful. So amazing in fact i proposed to my girlfriend on the lake. It was so quiet and relaxing our entire trip. The hot tub was super clean and their pups Gus and Gronk were absolutley awesome! We will definitely be coming back in the summer months. This was truly an amazing trip and great cabin and fantastic hosts.
This cabin was perfect for our honeymoon!! The host was very nice and left the porch light on for us because we would be arriving late. It has a very nice boat dock and fishing area that we enjoyed using. It was a little bit of a hike to the water but nothing major. Definitely recommend this cabin!
The cabin is located on the banks of the Cumberland Lake, the steps and path would lead you to the private dock. We have used canoe and kayaks to explore the area. Burnside marina is just 10 min away. The cabin is on the quiet street and even thought it is next to the main house and another cabin there is a privacy and cabin in the woods feel.
The hosts were responsive and accommodating.
The cabin is clean, comfortable and has all things necessary for grilling and making a basic breakfast. The porch is beautiful and overseeing the woods and water. There is a hot tub - we didn’t use it this time but would return when it’s cooler weather.

About the host
Hosted by Joanne Andres
I enjoy sewing, fishing and kayaking. I currently live in London, KY and my husband and I come use the main house at the lake some weekends. This area has a bit of everything, the water is fun, the woods are peaceful and the city is less than a mile. We love hosting because it gives us an opportunity to share thus great slice of heaven with others.
Why they chose this property
We have one of the rare houses with lake access and a dock on Cumberland Lake. We tell people, we bought a dock, it came with a house and two cabins.
What makes this property unique
While the walk to the water is a little steep, since you are walking down a mountain, the dock at the water makes it a gem. The Army Corp is no longer issuing permits for new docks. So this house is special. It also has plenty of parking, a charcoal grill for dinner and a firepit for smores.
