This house needs more attention
Overall, it was bad service and a home that needed more attention. Inside the house: the door lock/ door knob to the main bedroom did not work so my husband got his tools out for us to get in and then we did not close it any more, the shower door in the main bathroom did not close, the faucet handle on the sink in the master bath did not work, the couch was so hard we could not set on it to watch TV, the bed in the queen room was extremely hard and it could not be slept on, the pool table sticks were broke and taped back together and missing tips, the kitchen essentials where lacking with no backing dish, only 2 knives, one drinking glass, and the pots & pans Teflon was coming off so they could not be used, and on & on with issues. There was only one towel, wash cloth and hand towel per guest for a 5 day stay. Outside: there was trash on the side of the house and the pool door would not lock. It was fairly clean with only mold in the shower and water rings on the nightstands. The rental company, Vacassa, gave us codes for a different type of door so we called and text them for help. After being on hold for 2 hours we hung up and the text was answered in about 24 hours. We kept trying different ways to get in the door and finally got in in 2 hours. We also called the phone number that was left in the house to tell them we were leaving early and went directly to voicemail. Never got a call back but did get a text 6 hours after we were supposed to leave the next day.
