Cedar Point Too- Lake Michigan

Enjoy Michigan at it's best! Perfect location to enjoy beautiful weather, beach, sand dunes, Pentwater shopping, and restaurants!! Renovated into the bright, cool beach cottage that we envisioned when we bought it! After having great fun providing a relaxing vacation experience for wonderful guests renting our Cedar Point Cottage on the shores of Lake Michigan, we jumped at the chance to purchase another cottage in our beautiful secluded Lake Michigan neighborhood.

Located on Lakeshore Drive, only two houses separate you from a staircase leading down to 800 feet of private association Lake Michigan beach and to fabulous Lake Michigan sunsets. The cottage has a spacious deck from which you can catch glimpses of Lake Michigan through the trees. The first floor features an open living room and kitchen with two sliding doors letting in the sunlight and leading onto the deck. Also on the first floor are two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a washer and dryer. Upstairs there is a loft with two double beds and a full bathroom. Enjoy grilling on the deck, or making 'smores while sitting around the fire pit. Secluded, yet close to great restaurants, shopping, golf, and sand dune fun.
Stocked with everything you might need, allowing you to pack light, arrive, drop your bags, and head to the beach!!

Cute cottage

My husband and I just went on a spur of the moment mini trip for our anniversary. The Cedar Point too is a cute cottage that would be great for a family of 6. So it was plenty big for the 2 of us. It’s in a beautiful association neighborhood on the dunes of Lake Michigan. We had our dogs and they loved our daily walks on the beach. This time of year it’s very quiet and at times we had the beach to ourselves. I’m sure it’s more occupied in the summer. The property itself was very clean. Plenty of towels and linens. Comfortable mattress. We would stay here again.

Wedding weekend

The property was as depicted, but there were a few surprises. The refrigerator door did not have a handle. We saw a few black ants in the kitchen, and the oven didn’t seem to be working properly. We had to figure out how to shut it off, because off didn’t seem to do the trick. It was off and then a slight turn to the right that finally shut it off. The place was close to Lake Michigan, but there were 85 fairly steep steps to get to the beach. Other than these minor concerns the place was clean, the deck was large and everyone in our family had a very enjoyable family wedding weekend.

Family Getaway

The best thing we liked about the property was the proximity to Lake Michigan! (The steps down to the beach were across the street and down one house.) And it was a great location for everything we wanted to do in the area. We did a dune tour in Silver Lake, the shops in Pentwater, walked out to Big Sable and Little Sable lighthouses, and enjoyed the beaches. We had a great time!

Great location for Lake Michigan beach access!

The cottage was clean and it is accurately reflected in the pictures. It does have a small view of Lake Michigan which we enjoyed looking at with our morning coffee!!! It’s just a short walk to access the stairs to the beach. The best part was sitting on the beach and watching the sunset with our dogs. Also, conveniently located to Silver Lake Dunes and lighthouse. The host gave very detailed instructions and responded quickly. Plan to return!!!

Bff get away

My best friend and I had a wonderful stay at your beautiful little cabin! It is perfectly located with the beach down some stairs. The beach is private and gorgeous! We saw a wonderful sunset that wont be forgotten in such a peaceful spot. Pent water was only 15 minutes away which is a cute town to go have dinner and do some shopping. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the quite, safe neighborhood. Thank you so much for having us!

Secluded beach getaway

The house was clean and so many things have recently been redone, it felt like new. We had one very minor problem with a sliding glass door not working, and someone came out that day to fix it. The steps going down to the beach are long, but it’s worth it to have your own private spot in the beach 😁

Nice cozy vacation rental

Cedar Point Too had everything we we could ask for. The cabin was very clean and tidy. The property owners were very quick to answer any questions we had about the property and provided us with a helpful list of places to visit. Hideaway

The house was perfect for our needs. Well stocked, great beds and linens, kitchen had everything but lighter. Our dogs were comfortable, just hard to keep off furniture. Definitely planning a return trip.
