About the host
Hosted by Erik Campbell

We are native Californians always looking for new places to explore. We recently moved from Whittier to Big Bear and were lucky enough to purchase Black Moon Ranch. We love the mountains and the high desert! We look forward to exploring and sharing our experiences with you to improve your stay at Black Moon Ranch.
Why they chose this property
We chose the area of Flamingo Heights because we felt like the town of Joshua Tree is a little too crowded. Flamingo Heights is a pretty rural area with most properties on 2.5 to 5 acre lots. We also love that our property backs up to protected land.
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique because of its location which is so close to protected land which in turn makes the area very dark which is great for star gazers. We also chose this property because of the mature tress on the property. We have olive, eucalyptus and pine trees that surround the property.
