We had a lovely time at this cozy house by the river! It was so nice to sit on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee and listen to the birds. The house was clean and in excellent condition.
Amazing place if your looking to relax with your family or friends!!! Mark the owner was absolutely amazing with the communication & he offered us everything that we needed in order to make our stay even more comfortable!!

Beautiful quiet location on the Santa Fe River. Equipped with everything we needed on-site. Very close to Ichetucknee State Park for tubing, cave diving & canoe rentals. I plan to return in the near future!
Very clean and well equipped. Great deck looking over the river. The Santa Fe is best for the small boats, kayaks and canoes. We were able to go to several local springs and rivers and had a most memorable experience.
Great House for Family of 3-4 Near Springs and River
The house is a great spot to spend time on the river and nearby springs. There are several great springs within 15-20 minutes. The house is very well done and well equipped and you can swim off the small dock on the river. My family had a great time and we hope to stay here again when back in the area.
We wanted to get away from the fast pace and slow down for a weekend. This was the perfect spot for that. Very cozy and nicely renovated. Communication and hospitality were great!
Close to several state parks. Right on the river, close to a boat ramp. Overall great area for a back to nature get away.
Mark is a top notch host!
Sweet renovated house. Very well stocked and equipped kitchen. May be coming back again. 👍👍
My partner and I loved our stay. The location is perfect and the house is well appointed with everything you might need. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. It was incredibly comfortable and relaxing, as well as really beautiful. The space itself is well decorated and feels very welcoming and clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The porch is absolutely spectacular, with the views of the river. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the river. The gas fire pit was amazing at night, along with the tiki torches. It was the most perfect romantic getaway, and the most amazing place to be home-base for our kayaking adventures. I highly recommend booking a pick up from Rum 138 to somewhere up river. We really enjoyed being picked up in the morning and kayaking all the way back to the house by late afternoon. Being able to kayak 10 1/2 miles back to our rental house was really nice. Not having to worry about packing gear into the car and heading home or back to a hotel after a long day of kayaking was invaluableWe look forward to coming back. It’s really the perfect place. If you’re looking to do any kind of kayaking on the Santa Fe, Ichetucknee, and Suwanee rivers. Mark was an amazing host and was so helpful and responsive. Seriously, I just booked this place. You will not regret it.
We were looking for something on the Santa Fe River that was close to the Springs outside of Gainesville. We looked at dozens of options and ended up selecting this lovely place!Cleanliness:Extremely clean. I was impressed with how clean and cared for the property was. It was spotless. The cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in. Amenities:The house was fully stocked. Kitchen had plenty of spices and condiments. All the cooking pots/pans and utensils you’ll need. The convection oven was really useful! Reheated our pizza to perfection. The only thing I’d add is a blender! The Kayaks were great, well kept. I took one on the river and had a great time. They have all the towels both bath and beach that you’ll need. The washer and dryer work great. The HUGE TV in the living room was awesome to watch the NCAA tourney on! My son enjoyed watching his shows on it as well. There are some toys in the TV cabinet that my son loved too. Nice touch. Really helps when we need an additional distraction on rainy days.Location: You’re right on the river and it’s beautiful. The view is great, from inside too! The deck is a nice spot to relax. It’s really close to all the springs in the area and a short drive to anything you might need in the neighboring towns. Communication:Mark was super responsive and friendly, even with my unusual amount of questions on this trip. We felt well cared for. Don’t hesitate to book!
This location is a great get away into the country side of Florida, away from all the tourist traps. The house was clean and modern. The house is well suited for couples and small familes. This location gave us the ability to paddle or boat to Ginny springs, although you do need to paddle up river to access the springs. The property manager was great to work with. The only reason we have 4 stars for the location was other neighbors having their dogs bark throuhout the night. Overall we had a great stay.
I was a little disappointed at the cut pieces of plywood all over the place, a trailer with insulation under the home, and screws on the ground. Inside the home was beautiful, but looked like it was still being renovated. There was a outlet with tape over it, but no outlet cover. Which is frustrating since we had a toddler staying there and there was a hole that they could stick their fingers in. I ended up adding an outlet cover myself because of it being wide open. Also in the listing pictures the bathroom looked great, but upon arrival there were two open breaker boxes with no cover for either breaker panel. Also there was a recently installed water heater in the wall of the bathroom, which had exposed spray foam and drywall and cords for the water heater. Again, it was a beautiful property, but I feel like some of the images were misleading and didn't show that it was unfinished on purpose.
