The perfect 'couples retreat'! Looking for a place to relax, unwind and enjoy the mountains? Do Drop Inn is it! Picturesque mountain views welcomes you to this 1 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin. Inside has all the comforts of home with a pull out sofa for extra sleeping, flat screen TV in den and kitchen. Fireplace comes with electric heater and faux logs and lighting. Cabin has one bathroom, washer/dryer and spacious bedroom with a Queen size bed. Full covered porch allows you to enjoy the scenery of the mountains!

Please Note- Zeke's Trail is a one-lane gravel road and in some spots, is very steep. We ask that you put your vehicle in low gear and maintain a speed of 10mph both up and down the road. This will reduce spinning of wheels and damage to the road. No motorcycles, ATV's, trailers, or RV's are allowed.

Cozy cabin
was a nice cabin, until the last morning we got up to prepare to leave and ( no water ) of course no one could have known that was going to happen. Other tan that it was a very nice place to stay.

Anniversary Trip
We have stayed at this cabin numerous times over the last several years! And every time has been great. Only this time it was a little different. We missed conversing with Mr. Christian. He loved this cabin and loved being able to let other families make memories here also. The cabin is in the perfect area and is extremely cozy and relaxing. There are plenty of things to do nearby, or you can just relax on the deck with a cup of coffee or glass of wine and enjoy the view. The cabin is now up for sale, which broke mine and my husband's heart, so if you've ever thought about booking here you better hurry up. Just in case the new owners no longer rent it out! #ROLLTIDE

Loved everything about the cabin. Had a wonderful week. The view is outstanding. My favorite part was having my coffee on the glider in the cool mornings. Absolutely recommend. Already have to a couple friends.

We loved this very quiet mountain get away....but the final ascent to the cabin at the U-turn was extreme even in our 2 WD F150...we will be taking it to the mechanic...because on the 2nd time going up...it was moaning.

Three nights and four days gave us the opportunity to explore Cherokee and Graham county for the first time. The cabin was a perfectly located base of operations. It's clean, well equipped and has a large porch with a pretty view of the mountains on the other side of Pleasant Valley. It's a very pleasant price point, location, and value. We loved it!

Amazing Views
The view from the front porch of the cabin is AMAZING! The cabin was in a perfect location for day trips to other cities. The only issue we had was no internet service but not sure of issue. We had no tv access due to the internet not working. But our cell service was great so we weren’t that uptight about it. Renter was very responsive and willing to help if we needed anything!

Second Stay at the Cabin
It was great to stay at the cabin again since the first time back in 2022. I spent a few more extra nights than the last, and the place was just as great as I remembered. The view from the balcony is marvelous, and I also visited Chatuge Lake and its walking trail (30-min drive) enjoying the scenery and serenity.

Mountain Retreat
Very beautiful cabin. My only sandy was messing up the cable tv. But who comes to a retreat to watch tv? I would recommend the cabin, the location, and the restful bed. Saw cardinals, morning doves. Thank you Catie!

Perfect for the 3 of us. It was exactly what we were wanting. A cabin up in the mountains was an adventure for us. We've never driven that kind of terrain, definitely grateful for the 4WD. The little town of Murphy nearby had a very cute downtown and up in the cabin we saw the most beautiful sunset. The host made sure everything was clean and set up for a cozy stay.

Nice little getaway
The cabin was clean and well-maintained. The drive up to the cabin from the main road was not near as bad as what I was expecting based on other reviews. It was a climb but unless it’s iced over, you shouldn’t have any problems. My Mazda CX-9 did just fine. I read other reviews about it being difficult to find…I’m guessing the owner remedied this because there were an abundance of signs leading you right to it. There’s no way anyone would have trouble finding it now. It was peaceful, and had great views. A few things I wish I would have known (not negatives, just wish I’d of known)….When we got there the cabin was 47 degrees inside. It took us a good hour to get it comfortable. Once we got it warmed up, we had zero problems keeping it cozy. The fireplace is just a plugged in electric heater. There is no firepit (pictures should be changed….we almost loaded up firewood to bring so it would’ve been a huge disappointment if we had). It is not as secluded as I thought it was. When you walk out there is another cabin right there to your left. None of these things kept us from enjoying our stay, like I said, things I just wish I would have known. We would stay here again.

Best View!
When we arrived, everything was clean and well organized. We had the most amazing view from the front porch, which we enjoyed from the porch swing with coffee a couple mornings. The AC units and fans were more than enough to keep the cabin comfortable. The location was really convenient for us, which we loved! We were initially concerned about going up and down the driveway but it ended up being no problem. We plan to come back.
