Walk 4 minutes to the ocean and beach trail. Walk left 8 minutes from there and you are on the pier and Amtrak! Walk right 8 minutes and you are at the Metrolink, bike rentals, more restaurants and the Ole Hansen Beach Club.
This home offers 2 bedrooms with one king bed and one queen. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. There is an outdoor shower and patio with ping pong table. Washer and dryer are available in the garage. Luxury bedding, beach towels, 55' smart television with dvd and wifi are available. Everything is maintained in new condition. All the amenities for beach fun...umbrellas, boogie boards, beach chairs and coolers. The kitchen has gas range, refrigerator, crock pot, garbage disposal and all the necessities.. A gas barbecue is provided on the deck. The living room has a gas fireplace and water view. This home offers 850 square feet of light, bright, happy living space with a short walk to everything!
Walk to ocean, hiking trail, pier, sand volley ball, Linda Lane Park, the train or downtown. Take the train to San Diego, Del Mar or LA. Its a short hop to Dana Point for jet skiing, boating excursions, whale watching and deep sea fishing...or cruise to Catalina Island for the day. Park your car in and forget everything! If you should slip into shopping shock, Newport Beach's Fashion Island is a hop away or Laguna Beach for the art lovers.
This property is a duplex. Larger groups or two families can rent both units and be together yet have privacy. The lower unit has been totally remodeled and furnished. Great house to stay at

Came to visit our Marine and the house was exactly like pictured. Very very clean and easy to get to. The host was amazing and if I had any questions she got back to me quickly

San Clemente gem

My wife and I recently stayed (August 3-10/24) in Dianne’s place at the upstairs property. Newly renovated the place was terrific. Bright, clean, close to the beach and town. All the beach amenities are included from towels to boards to wagons and toys if you have children. Diane was an excellent hostess with clear, concise communication. Highly recommend.

Perfect location in San Clemente

Perfect place for our family to stay. Updated kitchen and bath were lovely. Nice ocean view off deck. Beach and town within easy walking. Host was quick to respond to our questions. Would love to return to San Clemente and stay here again!

Gem of a place!

We loved our stay at this beach house. We had the chance to meet Diane, the owner, upon our arrival, and she was a gracious host from the very beginning. The house is beautiful. clean, and well-maintained, with everything we needed. We loved the quick watch to the beach and access to the boogie boards, beach wagon, and beach chairs. This place is a gem and we can't wait to come back next year.

Walk to the Beach

Clean and well equipped inside and out. We used the beach gear. The location makes it easy to walk to the beach without having to deal with parking. The home had everything we needed and was super comfortable.

Clean, nicely furnished apartment with generous deck, ocean view, 4 minutes walk to beach, kitchen well equipped, responsive and very friendly owners. A really lovely stay.

Very nice property and location

My family really enjoyed our stay. Good communication and easy check-in and the location was very good. Off street parking was nice. Close to beach and beach trail, and just a short walk to Del Mar for food and shopping. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Great stay in SC

Host was exceptionally responsive, the condo was clean and close to the beach and Del Mar for restaurants and shops. I thought parking might be an issue but there was always street parking available either directly in front or one house away, plus the driveway. The only improvement would be a kitchen remodel…but that is being done now!

Home away from home.

Everything you need for a relaxing beach getaway is waiting for you, just bring your suit. Shopping and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute drive. We had a wonderful stay and would stay there again. Thanks Diane !!

Great Location!

This is the second summer we've stayed here and hope to stay again in the future. It's close walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The place is very clean and they updated the bathroom since our last visit. Our kids enjoyed playing ping pong and using the beach equipment. It's also nice to have a place to park in the driveway. Thanks for a great stay!

Family wedding

4 of us stayed here for 4 nights. We wish we could have stayed longer. The house was amazing. Comfortable, very clean. Very well stocked with everything you could need. The outdoor patio was lovely and so enjoyable for morning coffee, or any other time actually. Nice ocean views. Walkable to beach trail, pier, downtown, which was great because parking at those places can be tricky. We absolutely loved our stay. Thank you. We'll be back.

Perfect!

Perfect location, ocean view on the balcony starts your day and gives a place to relax in the sun. The property has many amenities not always common. It was so easy to get around and close to everything! I would definitely stay here again!

Great Thanksgiving

We had some original complaints but Diane addressed them almost immediately. All the remotes were missing their batteries or they were dead and we were really hoping to watch the World Cup games. She and her Son showed up just in time! Our heros! It was very difficult to not annoy the neighbors downstairs as the porch chairs were very noisy so it felt as if we had to walk on eggshells. I could only imagine that annoyance for the downstairs occupance! We addressed that to Diane when she visited to let her know we were trying to be quite if there were any complaints. The lights were super confusing, for those who come in at night, you had to walk through the dark or use your phone light to find the lamps because the light switch was just for the fans. I suggest fans for when it's summer time. Also lastly if you are planning on doing dinners they were lacking some essential utensils. Over all this place was fun! Our Marine and our other Son absolutely enjoyed the game room and the fact that it was so close to the town and the beach.

Surf house

Rented this place for a week for a surf trip. Worked out well, was close to downtown and lots of restaurants and shopping. Walking distance to the pier and a close drive to other surf spots.

Good time!

We had such a great time in SC for July 4th. They go all out. Diane's place is so close to everything, we could celebrate without the worry of driving. The place was clean and the balcony was really nice, with ocean view!

Great local.

Great local for everything we wanted to do in San Clemente. It’s an older space and a little small. some nice updates have been done. The bathroom needs work but we had plenty of hot water. Diane was accommodating with any requests. We enjoyed the stay.

Perfect spot

Great place for our family of 4 that was in town visiting extended family. The kids loved the ping pong tables and all the beach toys! It’s in a great location easily walkable to the beach or to shopping/restaurants. Lots of little touches/amenities that made our stay that much more enjoyable. Diane is great, and we hope to stay here next time we’re in town!

Wonderful vacation!

This property is well appointed. Great big screen, washer and dryer. Kitchenette and comfortable beds. The wrap around porch is up high with a partial ocean view. Can’t go wrong in San Clemente. Diane a delightful hostess!

We currently live in Orange County and are both transplants from the east. We have been going to San Clemente for 30 years and took our children there when they were young. We are thrilled to have a property here and look forward to many years of good times there with friends and family. We hope you will share our feelings!

Why they chose this property

We love this property because it is so close to the water and the trail. We love going to Fisherman's for the sunset and happy hour! After their chicken with beans and coleslaw, there is no need to cook dinner! We also love Nick's just about any time and Velvet Yogurt (Happy Hour 3-5 on Mon. and Fri.). This is a friendly town with many unique shops and restaurants. I often feel like I have stepped back in time when I am here...

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this property because the possibilities are endless. It suits both young and old. When children visit it is a short walk to Linda Lane Park. They can take the train to the San Diego Zoo. We can ride beach bikes on the trail and meet friends for lunch in Laguna or Dana Point. We can walk to the train and go to San Diego or spend the day at the races in Del Mar. We can take the train to LA. Most desirable to me is walking to the sand and listing to the waves with my morning coffee. I love sitting in front of the fireplace with an ocean view and knowing that all these activities are available when I feel like them.
