3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Townhome in the gated OCEANFRONT Complex the Del Mar Beach Club. Well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and entertain family and friends. The primary bedroom has king size bed, second bedroom queen-size bed and third bedroom with bunk beds. Bathrooms have travertine flooring, there is also spacious walk-in shower. Other amenities include flat screen TV's, WIFI. and washer/dryer. The main living area overlooks the patio which has its own table, chairs and gas barbecue. Enjoy the fireplace in the living room for those chilly nights and ceiling fans for that tropical feel with our abundant sunshine.
Carport with 2 parking spaces at front door. Complex includes 4 pools, 2 Jacuzzi's, saunas, gym, tennis/pickleball courts and private steps to the beach. Nice place overall
We stayed in this unit and the unit its self was just what we needed. Nice amount of space, parking, washer/dryer. The proximity to the beach and the multiple pools was also nice. The unit smells musty, that goes away as soon as you open all of the windows but the air is stale and odd smelling with windows closed. The neighbors were super loud but most did seem to quiet down around 10 -11pm. Overall, we did enjoy our stay there and would like to visit again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of six had a great time and appreciated the size and space of this condo. Big dining table for family meals. We could have used another seat in the living room, but it's all good. The unit is definitely used by many - you can tell the wear and tear on the front door and casing is in rough shape. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets and any wood is beat up - just really used. The granite countertops and tile floors on the main levels are really nice and the carpet on the stairs and upstairs rooms is great - good job on those upgrades!! We would come back again.

Perfect for a family.

Cozy, met our needs, but just OK as a vacation rental
This is the third unit we have rented at the DMBC over the years. We keep returning because we love the complex and the semi-private beach. We like the layout of this unit, it was very spacious and suited the needs of our family. Overall, this felt like we were staying at a friend's house while they were out of town rather than a vacation destination, not because of any big issues but a bunch of smaller ones that by themselves didn't warrant any complaint. I hate to be nit-picky, but for the money spent, we hoped for a little better: The dishwasher does not work very well. Detergent tabs don't dissolve and dishes don't get very clean (by itself no big deal, but we planned to do a lot of cooking). Several of the beach chairs had mold on them, but we were able to find 4 that worked out well for us. We took one of the umbrellas down the 96 steps to the beach only to find that it was broken, fortunately there was another one in there that we could use the rest of the time (by itself, no big deal). The elastic on the fitted sheet on the bottom bunk was entirely all stretched out and would not stay put, so we had to go searching in the cabinets for one that would work (by itself, no big deal.) The towel rack on the hall bathroom upstairs is not properly secured to the wall and fell off when trying to hang a towel back on (by itself, no big deal). In summary, I would suggest that the owners/managers spend some time there to take inventory and get a feel of how everything is working. We would be happy to stay here in the future after some attention to the little details, as I said before, it is overall a nice unit and we love the DMBC.

Excellent place for family
The condo is in a great location. There are a lot of steps down to the beach, but they are well maintained and easy to navigate. It was great to have a heated pool and hot tub. The condo has three roomy bedrooms and three bathrooms, and a huge dining table for meals and games. There were also some toys and puzzles, which made our 3-year-old happy. The place was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and linens, and having a washer and dryer in the unit was definitely a plus. Although the condo itself had no view, there is a large indoor lounge area and an outdoor patio that both have oceanfront views. We would stay here again.

Great condo with amazing location & property managers
Our family spent a week at this condo and we had a superb time! The #1 pro is the location. The private beach is within a 5 min walk (you have to climb down several steps to reach sand) and pools are even closer! Overall the area is secluded which was great for COVID considerations. We only saw a few other tenants/guests during our stay and we even had the pool to ourselves each day. As for the condo, it does the job! It looks like the photos. It was well stocked and organized. Due to a mild heat wave, we had to buy 3 fans as we were literally sweating inside. (Nearly all of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and a couple of box fans were also available.) Everything was pretty comfortable; we did notice several minor things that need to be repaired but not a huge deal. The condo is suitable for families although super young kiddos may struggle with all the stairs. Lastly, the property managers at Pacific Coastal (Patricia and Jimmy) were absolutely fabulous. Extremely responsive and helpful. We experienced an issue upon arriving and they personally resolved it within a few hours. We were beyond impressed! Honestly, they are the reason we rate this place with 5 stars! :)

One thing to note if you are staying for a week - you will need to buy laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and possibly dish soap. They give you an amenity bag but it just a few supplies. You can't beat the location! A 3 minute walk to the beach!! Will definitley return next year!

Amazing beach, cute condo in a nice complex
The benefits of beachfront access in a safe neighborhood were the best part of staying here. The house is nice, but definitely a bit dated and NOT on the beach - just in a beachfront community. The photos of the clubhouse are the ones with the beach views, but you do have access and we spent lots of time there. The two pools overlooking the ocean aren't heated but the other one away from the beach is and there is a very chlorinated by hot jacuzzi and two saunas - one in each of the bathrooms at the pool. The condo itself is comfortable, although the beds are SUPER soft. Note that they don't stock with any supplies - you have to bring your own laundry detergent, dish washer detergent, toilet paper, garbage bags and paper towels. They give you a couple rolls of TP and a garbage bag to get you started. I thought this was really strange, but there's a Whole Foods a mile away so we managed just fine. Loved the beach - very few people, great surfing, the dogs off leash are a ways away, and you can walk for miles and miles along the beach at low tide. So amazing. The sunsets and the viewing deck and the clubhouse were rad and we spent a lot of time there!

Wonderful Stay

We were amazed how comfortable we were in a "vacation rental" for almost two months. The house was well equipped with almost everything we needed and was very comfortable for all of us. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and the Brigantine across the street which has a great happy hour. Highly recommended! We will be renting again in September.

Unfortunately we were charged extra for cleaning after we left, and when we asked why we were told they deemed it necessary and wouldn't explain any further, we found that very upsetting because we left the property in the condition they asked us to leave it, washed all the towels, sheets, etc, and left the place very clean.
