Experience the traditional New Orleans "shotgun" housing style in the historic home of civil rights activist AP Tureaud. Included: private laundry, street parking, and bikes. Kyak use available with advance request.

We are near everything you want to be near without French Quarter prices- you can easily bike, Uber, or walk to the Quarter.
We take pride in helping each group to have the BEST experience possible- after all, this is the best city in the world. We are an LGBT welcoming home.
Please note: our home is in an urban neighborhood in New Orleans not inside the French Quarter- Please read our listing before booking to make sure this is the right fit!
Guest access
Guests will have access to their own private half of a duplex house and street parking. We live in the address next door and are always happy to share an evening beer or glass of wine with guests who like to meet their hosts.
Other things to note
We live on a busy street where Saturday nights have the potential to get noisy late night. (We do provide earplugs and a white noise machine for light sleepers).

We are two local teachers who love giving people the chance to see the best parts of our city.
Why they chose this property
Our neighborhood is where jazz was born. The house is the former home of civil rights activist A.P. Tureaud - the man after whom our street is named. There is a lot of history and a lot of pride in our neighborhood.
