This beautiful home overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is part of the Sunrise Beach Resort, an exclusive gated community built in 2007 with only 10 other homes. Location is a standout with Key West only 17 miles in one direction and Marathon 25 miles in the other. This WiFi-enabled, 1200 square foot home boasts two master suites, with a king bed in one room and a king bed in the other, 32'' HDTV, private full bath, & access to the second floor balcony that has views of the Atlantic ocean. Downstairs you will find the third full bath, smart TV, sleeper sofa, dining table for six, a breakfast bar with four bar stools, a second balcony with lush foliage views, washer/dryer, & a fully equipped stainless steel kitchen. Whip up your favorite tropical drink and have cocktail hour on one of the private balconies, relax in the private hammock, or relax at the heated pool or beach area. The ground floor offers parking for 2 cars and also has an entertaining area with a table and chairs and a Weber grill.

Your boat, up to 25 feet, can be kept at the marina, located in the calm waters directly behind the home (first-come, first-serve dock space and 1 boat per home). Looe Key is a short distance where you’ll find the most beautiful snorkeling and diving in the keys, along with the best fishing. Fish or kayak right off the end of the dock or opt to rent a boat from the nearby Cudjoe Garden Marina - a full service marina offering boat rentals as well as fishing, snorkel, and dive trips. After a day of fun, drop your gear off right at the house and clean the days catch at the fish cleaning station found right off the marina/pool area. Within a few miles, you’ll find several excellent restaurants, the only 18-hole miniature golf course in the keys is located five miles away at Boonedocks Grille Restaurant. Bahia Honda State Park and the Dolphin Research Center, which offers dolphin encounters, are other area attractions (see our owners map below for locations and descriptions!)

Paradise on Cudjoe Key

This was our second year staying at Joanna and Jason’s property and we had an amazing time. Joanna is extremely attentive and is an excellent host. We highly recommend this villa. It is equipped with everything that you need, meticulously maintained and the location cannot be beat! We love being so close to Key West and exploring Keys by boat such as Snipes Key, Marvin Key and Looe Key for snorkeling!

Fantastic Location Great Property

Love renting in this little complex but this unit in particular was immaculately maintained. Great communication with the owners and a fantastic location if youre looking for quick access to the ocean. We booked this place for a guys fishing trip and it was much more than we needed (in a good way). Families would have a ton of fun here as well with the pool, kayaks, etc. Cant wait to come back!

Beautiful Property

We’re bummed that we only stayed for 3 nights at this property! It is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The small beach area is perfect for sunset viewing and drinks with friends. The location is perfect! Close to a great restaurant, an awesome coffee house, Bahia Honda State Park, and KW! And to top it all, Joanna is an amazing hostess! We highly recommend Joanna’s place and we’ll definitely be back!

A hidden gem!

Picture staying at a beautiful, cozy townhouse that your generous relative (in my case, I'm imagining a loving aunt) has opened up to you to stay at and you have this place! It was perfectly furnished, very clean, and exactly as described. Joann was very friendly in her communication to us and even provided an unexpected early check-in. Our favorite parts of the home were the balconies, view of ocean, and the heated pool. Even though at night most of the other homes were lit up, it was very quiet. We felt comfortable allowing our teens to walk around for some photo opps since this home was in a gated community. I can't say enough! My teen lost her airpod and Joann even shipped it to us! Thank you! We will be back!

Great location to explore the Florida Keys

This Cudjoe Key property was delightful - clean, quiet and beautiful. It felt like we were staying in a tree house! Cudjoe Key was a great location for exploring the Florida Keys.The host provided clear instructions about check-in/out. An information binder privided activity and restaurant recommendations (The Square Grouper restaurant = two thumbs up). Amenities included everything we needed, even beach towels. We were out for most meals, but the kitchen seemed well appointed. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening cocktails on the deck or poolside and we shared a sunset with the pelicans. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Comfortable condo in a good location

Convenient location near good restaurants and activities. I usually bring items for the kitchen but this kitchen had everything I needed and the items were in good shape. Plenty of nice towels too.

Wonderful getaway week! Perfect for two couples. Clean, quiet and had everything we needed. It was a short drive to the excitement of Key West. Enjoyed the pool, kayaks and gas grill. Joanna was great and quickly answered all questions I had when booking.

Very Nice

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was squeaky clean and looked just like the pictures. Everything was well stocked and it was a lovely place to come back to after we exhausted ourselves in Key West. We would stay again!

Makes Paradise Feel Like Home

Joanna's house was so clean and she was an absolute joy to rent from. The house felt like home in the best way possible. It was so clean, and not like beachy clean, like actually clean! The furniture, the floors, the beds, the bathrooms, everything felt clean and comfortable like home. We had other family members who stayed in other places on Cudjoe Key and they were very jealous of our place. You can't go wrong staying here and the extra full bathroom downstairs really makes all the difference. Can't stop raving about this place! Will absolutely be back

The property was good overall but the online set up of the location is not accurate because the basketball courts and other play ground for the kids doesn’t accurate at all.we have to drive out of the property to look for the kids play ground it’s not connected to the place we stay.

Great Place!

Why they chose this property

What we love about the Florida Keys is the natural beauty and all the outdoor activities. We love the lower keys, but didn't want to be too close to Key West so Cudjoe Key was the perfect fit. We immediately fell for Sunrise Beach and all it had to offer in terms of amenities - beach, heated pool, dock, and marina. You don't even need to leave the complex to have an amazing vacation!
