Chief Joseph Log Home, situated in the rolling hills of Big Sky and a short 15 minute drive to Big Sky Resort, combines the perfect blend of location, amenities, spacious layout, thoughtful design, and secluded mountain magic. Spread over two levels, this four bedroom stand alone home boasts large log beam supports, cozy design, thoughtful amenities, several areas for your group to spread out, and the soothing comforts of home.
Enter the home and have your breath taken away by the rustic log cabin feel and sweeping mountain views. In the living area, enjoy the open floor plan, piano for guest use, game table with window seating, large flat screen TV and fireplace. Relax and unwind on the plush furnishings and enjoy conversations with your group with the ample seating. When there is a need for fresh air, exit the living room onto the breathtaking front porch that showcases some of the best views on the property.
Hungry? Head to the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen boasts a gas stove, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of counter space that provide plenty of room for the chef in your group. The dining area has a large table with seating for up to eight and seating at the breakfast bar with room for three more. Additionally, there is also a breakfast nook with seating for four more for overflow seating on the screened-in porch.
Looking for more outdoor space? Head to the deck, you’ll find a private grill and enjoyable patio furniture and fire pit, and a charming hammock, perfect for a morning cup of coffee or dining al fresco.
When you're ready to rest easy, head to one of the four bedrooms. The main level Primary King Suite has everything you need including a flat screen TV, walk-in closet, and attached ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub and shower. Also on this level, find the Twin bedroom with two Twin beds and shares a full bathroom with hallway access. Head on your way upstairs and find a small office space and reading nook, perfect for remote work or cozying up with a good book. Once upstairs, find the board game nook, perfect for a fun and competitive game of monopoly! The upstairs area also boasts two more bedrooms, one featuring a King bed and a Twin bed and the other hosting a Twin/Twin bunk bed and full bed. Both bedrooms feature sweeping mountain views. The upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower/tub combo accessed through the shared hallway. Chief Joseph Lodge is your home away from home for your perfect group getaway!
Ski Access:
This home provides incredibly easy access to over 50 miles of professionally groomed Nordic ski trails. Put your cross country skis on right at the house and explore a seemingly endless system of groomed trails through the Big Sky golf course, into the serene woods of Big Sky and on to the Lone Mountain Ranch. If you are a fan of cross country skiing this home is the perfect basecamp.
This home is not ski accessible, but free parking is offered at Big Sky Resort. Free skier parking is less than 5 minutes away and there is a shuttle that will take you to the base area.
Note: There is nearby Nordic Skiing accessed by walkable trail and the home comes with two cross country ski passes.

Damage to Common Areas – Up to $500 fine per violation and/or cost of repairs.
