This single level home is part of a side-by-side duplex, which can also be rented as a whole and is a great option for extended family or groups of friends. classic single level coastal property is the perfect prime beach front retreat that offers panoramic views of Catalina Island, magical sunsets, sailboats and even dolphins playing in the surf. The residence offers an open floor plan that is great for entertaining with the fully equipped kitchen open to the living room and ocean front deck. The home boasts three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, interior laundry, high ceilings, tiled flooring, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances.

Critical to Know

We were disappointed with our stay due to misleading messaging and unexpected charges. First, there's no AC, so if you're okay with that, this might be a suitable option for you. However, we were not expecting this. Second, the security codes for both units in the split location were identical. I discovered this when the neighbor asked for help accessing their unit, and we realized we had the same code. This was both uncomfortable and concerning for both of us, especially since many other places automatically change the codes after each stay. While the place was reasonably clean, my wife and I, both working in the hospitality industry, felt quite put off by the overall experience. Additionally, communication from management came across as condescending, which added to our dissatisfaction.

Dana Point Gold!!!

To put plainly, we didn't want to leave! The place has an odd layout but that wasn't an issue at all! They host was excellent and we will return!

Great location!

Property is in a wonderful spot, deck is nice. You book it for those reasons. Rest of the house is old and a bit run down but that's par for the course on this price point and location.
