Entering through a walled courtyard, you will be greeted with lush tropical landscaping. The open concept dining area, kitchen, and great room offer abundant natural light with oversized sliding doors (all glass is Miami Dade Hurricane rated) and sea views throughout. Laguna has a fully appointed gourmet kitchen for your entertaining pleasure. Step outside to awesome views of the sea from a 3,000 square foot deck with marine grade stainless steel cable railings almost doubling your living space complete with an outdoor shower. Watch spectacular sunsets from the private heated salt water infinity pool.

At the end of your day, retreat back to your master bedroom with sliding doors to both the courtyard and deck. The master suite bathroom offers a spacious rain shower. Two bedrooms and additional bathroom are located on the other side of the house to ensure your privacy. The master bed is king sized. The two guest bedrooms have a one queen bed in each.

Looking Forward to Coming Back!

This is a special house for our group. It was our second trip and we can’t wait to be back! Perfect location, always well stocked, and the family and property manager couldn’t be easier to work with. Highlights included kayaking out to the Pineapple Cays and daily visits to the Island Farm. Thanks to Phil for always answering our questions and helping us when needed! Special thanks to the Blankenships for sharing their home with the world.

Seclusion in paradise

House is very spacious and lots of natural light. The master bedroom's bed is extremely comfortable. However, the A/C in that particular room does not cool as well as the other bedrooms (and the humidity is oddly higher in that bedroom). Not unbearable in early May but I'm not sure that we'd have been very happy with it during the peak of summer. The kitchen and bathrooms are large and spacious. Washer and dryer worked well the couple of times we used them. Extras such as the kiyaks were neat. Just be mindful that they're kinda heavy so you'll need two people to get them down to the water. The water is beautiful and exploring the rocky shoreline was a fun adventure.

Peaceful Paradise

What an amazing property. It is exactly as described but even more beautiful in person. The communication with Stephanie, Kevin and the property Manager-Phil was excellent we were treated like VIP guests. The directions, guidance, tips were perfect. The location is breathtaking. The infinity pool over that beautiful blue water is peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped which is perfect because you want to eat every meal looking out at the stunning view. The grill was top notch also. We appreciated the other travelers who left some spices/baking goods and snacks to share- and we left some as well. We enjoyed the use of the pool floats, fins and ocean kayak. We loved exploring on the rocky beach, snorkeling along the shore line and seeing all of the sea creatures- living conch, sand dollars, tiny fishes, curious barracuda and some of the most beautifully colored and living corals. Just around the corner was Eleuthera Island Farm with all sorts of food/liquor items. We are looking forward to return to "Lutra" and would love to stay here again.

Amazing Villa

The most amazing villa, spacious, modern, well cooled/ventilated, well stocked and everything worked. Beautiful pool and kayaks to explore in. Only difficulty was it had a rocky entry to the sea, although most villas do on the Caribbean side, and you need a car. Amazing place and would like to visit again some day. Excellent value.

Excellent Vacation Rental with Stunning Views

We had such a great time at this rental. The house is very comfortable, and the views are spectacular! The main area is all windows, and the water is so close you often feel like you are on a boat floating in the ocean. The large deck is perfect with lots of seating and umbrellas for shade. The heated pool is absolutely perfect, large enough to swim laps and floats to just relax. The hosts have thought of everything you could need, even have a closet with extra toiletries or medications you may need or have forgotten. Quick to respond to questions and great with communication your vacation is bound to be great. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful spot

This lovely home lives up to the description. Having the pool was heaven. The house has everything you need and lovely the “Community” philosophy on sharing those things you don’t want to throw out, but also don’t want to have to buy- like olive oil, spices, etc. is great . We arrived after the island had experienced a bad storm that saw power, internet outages. Thankfully the generator meant that there was power. Minor issues relating to getting the place rebooted were dealt with quickly by the very responsive owners and Phil. Loved being close to some great beaches, the sunsets were magical and everything you could need or want were close by. We have been coming to Eleuthera for years but somehow had never discovered Eleuthera Island Farm- what a place with fresh veggies, herbs, baking, meat, wine, cheese etc. We already have a second trip booked. Can’t wait. Thanks Kevin and Stephanie for sharing your beautiful bit of heaven with us.

Great Vacation Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Laguna. It had everything that you could possibly need for a relaxing vacation. Power went out several times and the emergency generator kicked on immediately never causing any issues. Sunsets in the infinity pool were a highlight of our trip. We would not hesitate to book here again.

Wonderful stay

The house, the view, the pool were all amazing. We love Eleuthera and can’t wait to come back. Quick response from homeowners when a problem arouse and they send someone to fix/look quickly. We loved everything about the house. The kitchen is amazing!

Guys, this house has it all! Our two week February warm weather vacation was just perfect in this house. Salt water pool….amazing. The view from the deck and the view whilst in the pool, spectacular. So many chairs and lounger with umbrellas to choose from. The generator…most helpful as there were two planned outages during our stay. Btw, Stephanie gave us a heads up about the outages because her communication was outstanding. When the other reviewers talk about how well stocked the kitchen is, truer words have never been typed. If I were a baker I could have made a cake from scratch with the pantry items. It sorta felt like you’re part of a community in that you use some, you leave some. I love this kitchen and I’m for sure ruined from any other home rental in the future. The primary bed (only one we used) was very comfortable. We also LOVED this location for our first time on Eleuthera. Super central and easy to get around. Lots of great beaches on both sides of the island that are very close to drive to and there’s a few books about the beaches at the house for reference. Our time at this lovely home were so relaxing I’ll be sure to stay here again when we return. Not one complaint. Thanks, Stephanie and Kevin, for sharing your lovely home.

Exceeded all Expectations

We could not have been more happier with our stay at Laguna. Hats off to the hosts for sharing such a beautiful and fully stocked house with their guests! We had everything we could possibly have imagined needing, and we loved having the option to cook with such a wonderful kitchen. Kevin and Stephanie gave us such a great write up on the island and we used almost all of their tips on where to shop and sight see. This was the trip of a life-time for all of us and we would recommend the Laguna House to anyone looking to stay in Eleuthera!

beautiful home with amazing views

Stephanie and Kevin have a wonderful home on the Caribbean side of Eleuthera in a perfect central-island location. Great communication and lots of information provided ahead of our arrival that helped in all aspects of our time on island. All the "extras" they provide really made our stay all that more enjoyable. Lots of pantry essentials eased our cooking. All the kitchen tools and gadgets you could want were available. Phil, the on-island manager was able to address our few questions and needs quickly. We used the "beach book" provided to find some beautiful secluded beaches and when we had a couple days of rain, the home was a great place to hang out as a family, playing games and reading books. The only things we would change, the 2 days of rainy weather and the no-seeums, obviously are out of their control. All of us would quickly return if we could...thanks again for sharing your home!

A Taste of Paradise

This property made my trip amazing. My wife loved the house and the location was central to everything. The property owner explained everything very well. I surprised my wife with a chef and a massage at the house. The chef said the kitchen had everything she needed to prepare our 4 course meals. The pool was amazing and Ten Bay Beach was just minutes away from this location. The host had a property manager that I could call if I had any issue or questions. The property manager was very helpful and informative. Staying at this location is amazing and it will only enhance your trip.

Great House & Location

It was our first time to the island and we had the most amazing time. The beaches were picturesque and the house was perfect for our family and our needs. Everything we could have possible dreamed of - and a lot more

I cannot imagine a nicer property, nicer VRBO owners, or more helpful property manager and staff. We were thrilled with the location, of course, I mean LOOK at it! The beautiful ocean is right there. And that infinity pools take you right to the edge, with so much privacy... SO much privacy. An added bonus, and I do mean, this is a BONUS: The kitchen pantry was very well stocked, with all the condiments, oils, spices, canned goods, all kinds of things that make pulling a meal together with local groceries a snap. I always cook when I travel, and always end up packing little jars of things, my own spices, etc because typically, VRBO kitchen cupboards are bare. Not here. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms lovely - the entire house, was beautiful. We've rented a lot of homes over the years - this one is in the top spot.

Laguna is the best

Laguna is the best of all the vrbo houses we have rented in warm locales. The large, heated infinity pool overlooking the water is superb – none better. The extensive outdoor seating area with a good variety of lounges, chairs and tables and a very comfortable hammack make one never want to leave. The house itself is very well designed and well equipped, including very functional air conditioning and reliable wifi. As a party of four – three adults and a teenager – there was both space to come together and to have some privacy. We greatly appreciated the well-equipped, high-end kitchen (including the Technivorm coffee maker!). The local ‘concierge’/maintenance person, Phil, was very responsive and quick to address any issue; the owners are also helpful in their communications and provided particularly helpful guidance in their welcome package. The location is excellent, close to a variety of top notch swimming beaches with good snorkelling directly in front of the house. We highly recommend the adventure tour offered by Fishbones Tours: the 15 year old said it was the highlight of the trip in part because the guide was so knowledgeable about the local marine ecology. The associated Fishbones café is also great fun. In short, an unequivocable 5 star, top-of-the-league house in every regard.

Fabulous stay....

Where to begin... we had a FABULOUS time at Laguna. Our first visit to Eleuthera - we were pleased we chose this central island location and extremely pleased we chose THIS home. It's a quiet area and allowed us easy travel options north or south. Island Farm is nearby with fresh bread and produce - we shopped there several times during the week. Laguna has a well laid out floor plan with a beautiful panoramic view of the sea. A tranquil setting to rest and relax. Stephanie was quick to respond and communicate with any questions we had. She gave us lots of great info on shopping, Covid testing, restaurants, etc. We ate some great lunches out but primarily enjoyed the house, the incredible view and tranquility of the deck and pool. Kitchen had everything we needed. Dining and living room area overlooked the infinity pool and sea. Electricity went out a few times but the back up generator kept things running! We stayed 2 weeks at this beautiful spot - never got tired of the view and truly wished it did not have to end !

Perfect spot for three generations together for quality time

I can’t say enough about our experience at Kevin and Stephanie‘s beautiful home on the water. The house itself is set up beautifully with the master suite on one side of the house and the other bedrooms and bath on the other side. The main living area has beautiful doors overlooking the beautiful sea and the gorgeous infinity pool. The grandkids were up in the morning and in the pool which is heated and a very comfortable temperature. The adults enjoyed the pool immensely also. It was wonderful to have the kayaks and we enjoyed exploring on those. Unfortunately we didn’t have good snorkeling off the rocks and I’m guessing at other times it’s probably different. The sunsets were gorgeous and we got to enjoy them before the bugs drove us inside. Location on the island is perfect with beaches, stores and some nice restaurants nearby. Stephanie and Kevin were wonderful with communication right from the moment we booked their home. And Phil, the property manager was always available. Wonderful memories made for us at Laguna.
