We had a great time at this property. The back yard overlooking the salt pond is spectacular. Great for lawn games and just sitting and relaxing.
The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. One note is that the listing references 2 Queen size beds, but one is actually a King size, so plan accordingly if you are bringing linens.
I would highly reccomend this property
Everything you need for a spectacular vacation! Walk to the beach, amazing sunrises, easy for kayaking or floating on a tube in the backyard, and adorable cottage with plenty of space.
Thank you Melissa for being so accommodating!

Wonderful location and yard; house has serious mold issues
First I want to say the location and backyard were just top notch and the property owners were in constant communication and attempted to improve things when they could. However we won't be staying here again. The house has some kind of major mold issue. The smell was horrible. One first floor bedroom and the upstairs were worst than others. We didn't see any visible signs of mold just the smell; it was so strong. We noticed the vents on the floor were covered with plastic; in the one first floor room that really smelled the vent wasn't covered once we covered it the smell improved a bit but it was hard to be in the house/sleep in there. When we arrived it looked as though it hadn't been cleaned, home owner said it was someone new and that they didn't have a chance to check the property before we arrived. The couches had pubic hairs on them, the floors had dirty and when we mopped them it was just black with dirt. The grills were unusable; she said she'd have her son in law some clean them he did come and fix one of the beds that was broken but never cleaned the grills; we did end up just buying a grill it was 4th of july weekend. I had to clean the whole place when we got there; I was hoping we would get our cleaning fee refunded but we didn't to be fair I didn't ask. Upstairs we found a huge ball of hair someone must have removed from their brush just sitting on the window sill. Just too bad. The house in pictures looks great; the backyard was fun and the location was great. But I honestly felt sick staying in the house.
We had a beautiful location, The host greeted me snd made me feel welcome. We weather through Hurricane Henri, thought it was very kind for the host to send friends of theirs to check on us. The kids loved!!! Playing in the salt pond.
The property (land) was gorgeous. It doesn't get much better than that. Literally waterfront, with nice amenities. The house itself was a bit underwhelming. There was a distinct smell of mold, something awful, it hadn't been cleaned properly, particularly with COVID, and the lack of communication by the owners was a little disappointing. The lack of landscaping/cleanup in the front made it hard to access the front entrance. I would say to the owners, perhaps put a little bit more effort into the house and you would have an amazing vacation property.
Wonderful property! Spectacular view. Location ideal! My family had a fantastic time

Perfect little paradise!
My family spent the month of June at Melissa and Bill's adorable cottage on Miswuamicut pond. The house was plenty spacious for the 4 of us and some visitors who came to bbq and spend time outdoors. The property, with its private little beach, view, and sunsets, made our June days and nights heavenly!!
Loved the location, beautiful lawn and saltwater pond access!
The only draw back was having one bathroom. We managed very well but a half bath would have been nice. Having the outdoor shower was fantastc.
We enjoyed clamming right from the house and having a short walk to the shore. Melissa and Bill were very friendly and accommodating.
