In the Shenandoah Valley with magnificent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains we offer comfortable log cabins situated in a pasture overlooking Lazy Acres Equestrian Center. Just 2 miles from the Virginia Horse Center, the east coast's biggest horse event park with shows going on all year, and 5 m from historical Lexington's fine restaurants and shops. 5 miles to Washington & Lee and VMI Campuses.

Relax on the porch with one of the best views in Rockbridge County, surrounded by fields of horses. In the cabin on the ground floor there is a king size bedroom, a full size fouton in the living room and the kitchen and bathroom with washer/dryer. A spiral staircase to the loft has two single beds and a balcony. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay carefree.

A couple of miles away the river meanders with the road at Goshen Pass, an amazing gorge with swimming holes and great fishing and hiking, one of the counties unspoiled treasures.

We have stables and turnout available for your horses. Come on vacation with your horses. Boarding available.
The huge arena is available for rent for clinics or shows.

Great Cabin

Arrival flawless & everything exactly as promised. Took advantage of info in cabin on hiking trails and nearby restaurants. Kitchen/bathrooms furnished with everything we needed. And beds were wonderful. We will definitely stay at this beautiful place again!!!

Such a wonderful cabin!
This cabin was great! Very clean, stocked with lots of towels, kitchen items, paper towel, etc. the views were incredible and the porch is awesome! Wish we could have hung out there more but our daughter was competing in the 4-H Horse show and we had to be there a lot, but luckily that was only 2 miles away! I highly recommend this cabin! They made it very cozy and we wouos love to go back and enjoy it more!

Beautiful!!
We stopped here for a two night stay on our way to Tennessee and could not have been any happier!! It was even more beautiful than the pictures, clean, comfortable and absolutely gorgeous property! We enjoyed walking around the farm and the cabin was perfect for our family of 5 and our dog. It was great to meet Amanda too! Would definitely highly recommend and we would love to return in the future!!

This was a perfect location to get away to as we were in town for a family reunion - property is great for kids and older adults as well - loved that it only had a few steps for my mother and that it had the loft area for my son. Amanda was quick to respond with any questions and this was a great Vrbo listing!

Wonderful Getaway
Our stay at Lazy Acres Farm was exactly what we needed. The views of the blue ridge mountains in the background, open fields with cows and horses grazing, and some amazing sunsets allowed us to leave the work and city life behind. The cabin was in great shape, clean, and had everything we needed. Our six year old loved the loft area and we stayed up a little late to watch the stars from the balcony. We took walks around the farm and made Smore's on the fire pit. Amanda was a fantastic host. She was very responsive to messages and made sure we had what we needed, but most of all she was very friendly to us, our daughter, and our dog. We'll be back!

Great Option for W&L Visit
The Cabins at Lazy Acre Farm were exactly as pictured... cozy, very clean and comfortable. The setting in the rolling hills is stunning. The covered porch was also very clean... a perfect place for morning coffee or an outdoor meal. Check-in was easy and straight forward. We had everything we needed, so didn't need to contact Amanda. We would absolutely stay here again next time in Lexington.

Weekend Getaway to Lexington, VA
The cabin was beautiful and very welcoming. It had all of the comforts of home. We're a farm loving family and being on a working ranch with cows and horses was a great plus. The sunrises every morning was amazing to watch as it rose over the mountain top. We would love to spend another long weekend here during the spring or fall in the coming future.

Perfect cabin in perfect location
My 12 year old daughter and I stayed here for a horse show at the Virginia Horse Center. Location was absolutely ideal, close to the horse center and Lexington but private and relaxing. Gorgeous views of the working horse farm and mountains. Cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. Amanda was helpful, responsive, and the perfect host. She even turned the lights on for us when we let her know we'd be arriving late on check in. We will definitely be back!!!

The cabin was clean, well stocked and comfortable. My favorite place was sitting on the large porch. The outdoor experience is that of rolling hills, fresh air, working farm, deers and birds. Many attractions nearby.

Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed our time at the cabin! It is charming and so relaxing, set amongst the rolling hills and overlooking pastures. We were in town for graduation at W&L and appreciated having the deck to grill out with family. Highly recommend this sweet cabin and the hosts.
