Important note: The stairs to the lower level are unusually steep. If anyone in your party has trouble with climbing stairs, they may need to plan to stay on the top level, which is the entrance level.

Guest Access:
Guests are welcome to the entire area between the two fences. Driveway is shared with other rentals.

The Neighborhood:
River Road is a very fun place. In proximity to New Braunfels and Canyon Lake it has plenty to offer.

Getting Around:
We are not close to public transport but we have free parking for 6-8 vehicles. Guests have reported that Uber is also available.

Other Things to Note:
-Stairs-
The stairs to the lower level of the home are steep. If anyone in your party has trouble with climbing stairs, they may need to plan to stay on the top level, which is the entrance level.

-Kayaks-
Use of kayaks are provided with every home rental! Code for on-site kayak storage will be given for arrival. For safety purposes, please return to storage and lock up after each use. Fees apply if not returned to storage before departure. There are various sized floatation vest provided but please bring your own for anyone who would rely on a properly fitted floatation aid.

-Pet Policy-
Pets are allowed but please keep pets off of furniture and beds. Bring your own pet beds, pet towels, and pet blankets. Pets are not allowed to roam free while outdoors since the yard is not enclosed; you are responsible for you pets behavior towards others. It would be expected that you would clean up after your pet outside for the consideration of other renters. The pet fee is $30 per pet and we ask that you leave cash upon checkout or contact me to send payment. Additional fees could apply if we find that your pet was allowed on the furniture or beds, if we find it was left unnecessarily messy because of the pet, and/or if we find damage to any part of the home.

-Linens & Towels-
Clean, fresh bed linens are always provided for each bed. We will also provide the towels needed for bathing and shower needs. Towels are not for use at the river so please plan to bring your own beach towels for after your outdoor water activities.

-Ice & Water-
This house has a country water well. Some guests have mentioned not liking the taste of the tap water so we mention this as a suggestion to bring your own drinking water. There are no ice-makers in the home so make a plan for any necessary ice. There is a self-serve ice machine conveniently located at the front of the property, near the road. It has the lowest price of anywhere on the river and sells 10lb ice - either in bulk (directly into your ice chest), or in bags. It also dispenses fresh drinking water if you have containers. In seasons of prolonged low temperatures, this machine is disabled to winterize the equipment.

-Paper Products-
We provide a standard and reasonable amount of toilet paper and paper towels at the start of your stay. Depending on your group size or length of stay, plan ahead for additional paper products that your group may need.

-Televisions-
TVs are provided in living spaces and some bedrooms. They are equipped with Roku devices you are welcome to sign in to your own streaming accounts.

-Grill-
A charcoal grill is available, but you must provide your own charcoal, lighter fluid, and lighter. (County burn ban does not apply to outdoor grilling)

-Fire Pit-
You will have to provide your own firewood for the fire pit. You are welcome to forage dead wood on the property. Campfires are NOT allowed during a county burn ban. Please check the status of the burn ban at the Comal County website.

-Dumpster-
A dumpster is located at the end of the driveway near the road. Guest are expected to remove all trash from the house before departure.

-Noise-
There is potential for noise from the campground next door. Sometimes there are weekend events and concerts.

-Pest Control-
We are in a rural area with lots of trees so seeing insects would be normal for a rental in this location, however, please know that we are consistent with quarterly pest control to keep control of bugs.

-Picture Representation-
Pictures may show past decor and furniture including exterior sitting areas. When things go missing, or are broken, we do our best to replace them with similar items as quickly as possible. Some replacements may occur for the next season.
