Nice and quiet place.
The owner is very communicative!
The place was amazing only thing was the water pressure was next to none for the shower.
Other than that! Wow I loved it here! It’s a nice place to get away and spend with family OR go hunting!
The place was easy to find, we loved having one big bedroom. We had some questions when we first arrived and our host got back to us immediately. We were concerned that it would be chilly due to the dip in nighttime temperatures but the place was warm and cozy.
Internet was spotty but we have found on our trips to West Virginia that was to be expected.
We loved it! Its not a hotel if that is what you are looking for, it is a hunting camp and it is great! Lots of wildlife to see and hear, close to the lake,(although this time West Va. happened to be in a drought) and all kinds of places to check out! Will absolutely go again!!
Great spot! Super clean and and nice area. Wifi is more symbolic than useful but there were a group of us, and who needs that when you're up in the mountains! Would def stay again when coming to area. Owner was friendly and comminicative.
Very quiet and relaxing! Cabin was supplied abundantly in the kitchen all we needed was our food, bathroom supplied with almost any toiletry item you’d need, beautiful cabin we loved our entire stay there!
The house was as pictured. We throughly enjoyed our stay! It was well equipped with everything you might need. We never did get WiFi or Netflix but it was so peaceful it didn’t bother us to “disconnect” for a while. Thank You. We will return.
Very cozy “man camp.” We really enjoyed our stay for girls weekend. Great location. Loved the wildlife decor. Water pressure was a little jacked up and needs some attention but completely functional. Cabin could use a deep clean. Dead bugs in the windows and a few little live critters throughout but harmless, as we country girls didn’t mind too much and know that is to be expected. AC unit upstairs needs replaced. Lots of space, pillows and blankets. Dogs had a great time running in the field. Super pet friendly! We would stay again. Thanks for the hospitality!
Me and a few friends wanted to tour WV on our motorcycles. This place was perfect for our stay. It was clean, well stocked for most normal needs, a/c window units worked great to keep the heat outside. I would caution the cell and wifi service in the area is poor due to circumstances outside their control. Just an fyi if thinking of visiting the area.
The host Rick, answered any questions promptly. Thank you for an effortless booking and check in process.

This was an amazing stay. While the cabin is definitely geared to outdoorsmen, it was fun to experience. Everything we could think of was provided by the host--pans, dishes, cooking and eating utensils, even foil and ziplock bags. Can't wait to go back.

Not horrible.
Place was filthy. But after we cleaned and took care of the trash and dead bugs we actually really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very spacious.
