About this property

Cedar Creek Cabin: Hot Tub And Views: Close To Asheville And The River

Cedar creek cabin is a cabin walking distance to the cute town of Marshall, NC. The cabin is fully furnished with all the amenities for a worry-free, comfortable, vacation. Twenty minutes from Asheville, NC, it is an easy day trip to this eclectic, diverse town and the Biltmore Estate. If relaxation is what you want, indulge in the hot tub nestled in the trees, sit by the fireplace, or curl up on the front porch while listening to the sound of the French Broad River. The cabin has easy access to outdoor adventures. Tubing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, fishing, Hot Springs mineral tubs, and white water rafting are minutes away. Coffee shops, galleries and restaurants in the quaint, artsy, mountain town of Marshall, are an easy walk from the cabin.
The cabin is not fancy or splashy, it is a little rustic--but is super-cozy.

The living areas are small and sweet. The third bonus bedroom is connected to the second bedroom by an open doorway (although you cannot see one room from the other). It is perfect for children or very close families. Please be advised that the cabin is in the woods! We try to keep it as critter-free as possible, but occasionally bugs get in! Please note: THE CABIN DOES NOT HAVE CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING. There are window units upstairs and downstairs that do a good job. It does get hot in the mountains sometimes.

The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home. I live in the area, and will assist you in any way possible during your visit.

We welcome dogs with prior approval. There is a 50$ pet fee per pet. Thank you!

short stay for wedding
cute home, with hot tub. as noted parking is tight because narrow private road but got 2 cars in fine. dog friendly with pocket park just steps away. walk into downtown marshall and 20 mins from asheville. not a lot of run around space for small children but great for adults, families with teens. very bucolic feel. owner is very responsive.

Marshall Marshall visit
Was a great stay the only issue we had was there was a significant lack of lightbulbs in the house with fixtures having no bulbs or burnt out bulbs. Had an amazing trip and Willy’s like to stay here many more times in the future!

private and relaxing!
we loveddd our stay at this cabin, it was as advertised no frills but the bed was clean and comfortable and there were fresh towels for us, we so enjoyed having coffee in front of the fireplace in the morning and hanging out in the hot tub in the evening, we would definitely come back to stay again, very walkable to downtown which was great!

Good place with some minor flaws
This was a charming rustic cabin, not the newest or fanciest, but it worked for us. There are a lot of steps/stairs and places where you could bang your head. The deck to the hot tub had places where you had to be careful where you stepped. We did enjoy the hot tub. To access laundry, you have to go outdoors. The road is more of a one lane alley and there are 2 nearby houses. It was nice to be able to walk to downtown Marshall. This is a good place to be used as a base for outdoor adventures.

Peaceful Hideaway
We have stayed here twice now. We absolutely love this cabin ...it is so very precious. It is an older home but so comfortable and welcoming. Located on a private street in charming Marshall NC ....you can walk to anything in town ....shopping, food, entertainment, etc... The locals are wonderful, kind and knowledgeable about their town, happily giving tips to visitors about places to sight-see, shop, hike, etc.... Cannot say enough good about this place! If you are looking for a place to get away from all the hub-bub and relax, enjoy the peace and quiet, then this is the place for you! We will be back again!

Charming cabin in the midst of a quaint mountain town.
Marshall is the cutest mountain town. My family (two adults and one baby) stayed during the first chilly weekend of the year and the hot tub and fireplace were perfect. The drive to Asheville was quick and easy. Would definitely recommend for a small family, I think it could get crowded with a large family or more than four adults.

Amazing little mountain retreat!!!!
such a charming little mountain house. we loved everything about it.... super cozy, private and beautiful property. We made good use of the hot tub! Love the almost "treehouse" like feel of its location! Felt like a kid again, playing in the little stream and walking around such a great little town. Cant wait to come back!!

Great place
Used it as our hub to travel all the surrounding areas. Perfect location, nestled in old town with good food and brewery near by. Made having to cook and shop minimal. Go out for a day of fun come home grab some good food and a couple beers. Then walk down the street and get in the hot tub. Watch out for the raccoons at night had to clean up the trash cans a couple times otherwise a great escape.

Good place to stay
This place was very clean. The jacuzzi was very nice. The owner was great! The home is located close to town on a one lane road. Parking and turning around was tough, but manageable. The house is an older house that needs a few repairs. However, its a home that I am sure has some interesting history to it, and the area was very quiet. There are neighbors close by, but they were all friendly. So, its a very peaceful place to stay and a great escape from any hustle and bustle in life.

Has everything you need for a basic stay
This place is nothing fancy but it is clean and has everything you need if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay/sleep and cook a few meals. Hot tub was a big plus and I was so thankful for that after our hiking! Parking was tricky at first but once we did it a time or two it was second nature. Enjoyed the porch and listening to the water in the creek across the street after it rained.

Just what we needed
This house has so much character! We felt so comfortable and welcomed. The beds were super comfortable! The stove in the living room was prefect for curling up with a book. The little river across the street was so relaxing. Marshall and Mars Hill are the cutest little towns. We love everything about this place. Thanks for having us!

Quirky, Fun, Great location
Perfect location for us! We loved being within walking distance of the town and shops. The weather had just taken a sudden cold turn when we arrived, and the hot tub and fireplace were such wonderfully cozy spots to unwind and relax. There is some settling that might be tough on someone with balance issues, and if you are scent-sensitive, you might want to bring your own sheets and towels. The fragrance was hard on us. Overall, the house is wonderful, comfortable, quirky, and nicely equipped. We loved our stay and wish it could have been a longer trip.

Cozy Mountain retreat
We really enjoyed our time at the property. The cabin is a cozy older home that has a lot of character, and is just minutes away by foot from downtown Marshall where you can find some very quaint restaurants and cafes. Becca was amazing and extremely responsive to our requests. She provided everything we needed to make us comfortable and was very kind. The hottub and fireplace were both so relaxing and worked well (follow the instructions provided). I would definitely stay here again!
