Wow! Great views as you walk in the door. You will have mountain views from every room of the cabin. Enjoy the wildlife viewing & breath the fresh air from the deck right off the Living Room. This is a newly constructed one-bedroom cabin located end of the quiet road for leisurely walks in the cool mornings and evenings. There are miles of trails for horseback riding and hiking within this private Leatherwood Mountains Community. Also, if you like fishing, there is good fishing from Elk Creek that runs just outside of Leatherwood entrance. You might not want to get back in your car too soon once you get here. It will take about an hour to the nearby cities for sightseeing, shopping or dining. We are close to Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking and exploring more nature. Please bring all your groceries. The TV room is furnished with two electric recliners and a wet-bar setup for a movie night. The fiber-optic high speed WIFI offers convenience for a quiet place to catch up on your computer work. This "Acorn Ridge Cabin" is a great mountain place to rest, relax and recharge.
