About this property

Cozy, peaceful hideout | sauna, hiking, great food

Escape to a serene and secluded experience at the Quiet Forest Hideaway. Nestled between Waynesville and Sylva, just mins from many hikes and the Blueridge Parkway. The Cherokee entrance to the Smokey Mountain National park is also only 35 mins away.

"The Locust" is a gem! It's a brand new hand crafted tiny house that is a thoughtfully designed, luxurious glamping experience with hotel amenities. The road is called Quiet Forest Lane for a reason!

- Kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, cooktop, and microwave for quick meals.

- Comfy King Bed (memory foam)!

- Cozy up inside with the indoor fireplace or enjoy a nice evening by the outdoor fire pit under the trees and stars.

- You'll love soaking and unwinding in the bathtub (no shower).

- Pull out full sofa for extra sleeping space.

- We currently don't have WIFI, so get ready to unplug and reset. That said, most carriers do have cell phone signal at the house.

Tucked off of a very quiet road with only a few houses, it’s the perfect setting to getaway to. However, plenty to do around in nature as well as great restaurants and breweries with Waynesville being under 20 mins away, Sylva ~10 mins, and Asheville is an easy highway drive ~40 mins. You can get to the beautiful Smokey Mountain National park entrance near Cherokee in ~35 mins as well.

**This is a pet-friendly property, we do charge a pet fee. You'll see this upon booking! Reach out with any questions.

Cute and cozy!
This was a great stay. It is on top of a huge hill, so I recommend bringing a truck or SUV.

Such a cool place!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Locust. The property was better than described. When we pulled up we were more than surprised to see a sauna that wasn’t yet on the listing. The house was great. Plenty of room for both of us and our two dogs. We enjoyed sitting outside in the hammocks both during the day and at night to check out the stars. French press coffee is the way to go(If you were wondering)! We ran into Jonathon, one of the managers, who was working on one of the other properties and he was so nice to talk to and went out of his way to make certain that we had the best stay! Such a wonderful person to meet. Go! You won’t be disapointed.
