Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was not ready for rental. The turnaround from purchase to rental was too close to identify all the issues with the house. - Upon arrival the home’s water was shut off and we had to stay in a hotel - The house only has one furnace for 1/2 of the first floor. No furnace for Master Bedroom. - No reading lamps in any bedrooms - Interior window shutters in living room were installed backwards, was annoying to open each one. - Remote in dining room for light and fan was missing for 3 weeks and forced to eat in dark. - Stovetop is very old - Oven was not attached to countertop and was very old and would surge forward as and pop out. - All cabinets are very old and in poor condition and a poor paint job was done to hide issues - It was hard to access hot tub. Hard to find a place to store the cover. - The table and chairs on lower canal deck under the Tiki were uncomfortable and would have been OK to sit in if there was a proper table and cushions. In the house there were cushions for only four chairs - two on the pool patio and only two of four chairs under the tiki. The small table was a modified cooler with a table attachment and unusable. - The first floor had no towel racks or hooks to place your towel once in the shower and was s safety hazard. We had to beg to get these installed after two weeks in the house. - First floor second bedroom TV does not work - Wi-Fi in house is HORRIBLE! It does not have enough bandwidth for multiple phones plus the streaming TVs. Movies cut out several times mid-movie. Wi-Fi drops multiple times on phone calls and watching TV. Certain areas around the house have no wi-fi. - There was NO HOT WATER in the kitchen sink. - The “instructions” upon arrival included only Wi-Fi password. No instructions on TV, pool directives or overall directions for house operations. - There are no railings to walk from the pool area down

Christmas/ New years trip
The house was beautiful, a little chopped up but plenty of room for all 8 of us to be together or separate if we wanted. Very high tech house pool was really nice even though we hardly used it. The hot tub is kinda disgusting needs to be replaced or at the very least emptied and scrubbed and refilled. It did work great and got hot but water was dirty. Host was great to work with, super easy to get in touch with and answered any questions immediately. Would definitely recommend this property!
