Nice cottage
The cottage was nice, clean and well appointed. The listing did not mention that the cottage is on a small pond and has a nice deck and fire pit which were nice surprises. If you have a low profile car do yourself a favor and park at the top of the hill before the the bridge that has to be crossed to get to the cottage. It is a very short walk and will prevent your car from bottoming out. The property manager was difficult to communicate with especially for check in instructions. I had to call VRBO to have them reach out to the property owner as check in information was not provided through the app. Owner sounded annoyed to be bothered and provided information verbally and then sent a text with the correct code to check in. The information was not provided through the VRBO app which could have led to challenges. Hopefully the owner will correct difficulties communicating through the app to make the process of booking and sharing information less stressful.

Steep driveway
The house is beautiful and very peaceful. It is not well suited for people with mobility issues, it is a pretty steep hill down to the water. Also if you don’t have a truck or an suv that sits up pretty high your car will scrape bottom going down the steep hill over the wooden bridge then straight back up the steep hill to get to the house. My daughter’s civic did not make it as a board was sticking up we had to figure out how to maneuver around it on the narrow bridge so she could get out.
