Butterfly palms, a towering schefflera and Corinthian chimes greet our guests as they enter Danish archway doors into the atrium.
The upstairs living room invites multiple gathering in one area: reading, table games, napping, tv, kitchen prep and grilling on the extended deck.
In our outdoor space there are: Flamboya, mango and calabash trees, fruits and herbs - avocado, papaya, banana plants, lime and cashew bushes, lemongrass, aloe, and basil. All available for renters when in season. Wildlife provides constant fascination and amusement. Startling egrets visit in the morning to hunt. On neighborhood walks we frequently see land turtles, hummingbirds and their nests, golden orb spiders in their webs, wandering donkeys, goats and sheep. Deer come for visits in the late afternoon.
Birdwatching is a favorite pastime. Bananaquits visit our sugar bowl daily, mourning doves, thrashers, and the magnificent American Kestrals are close by.

Nearby favorite beaches include Salt Pond and Lameshur are close by, along with hiking to Ram's Head or Danish ruins.
