Lots of neighboring conveniences - restaurants, historic sites, free parking, pleasant walks. Condo was spacious, bright, clean, and everyone friendly.
Loved this place and definitely recommend itt. Great location and the place is comfortable and has everything you would need. Plenty of towels comfy beds and furniture. Very very clean
We were surprised to find that there were only 4 cups/mugs yet the apartment can accommodate 8! Fortunately there was only 4 of us so it was no big deal but needs to be corrected for other renters. In addition, a number of the light bulbs were out throughout the apartment. The ceiling fan and fan light in the second bedroom wouldn't work. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom was stuck on one speed and it's lights didn't work. The door handle to the master bedroom had been fitted upside down, as a result the door wouldn't close. The door handle to the en-suite bathroom fell off during our stay.Kitchen utensils and oven ware were a bit sparce - great set of spices on a spice rack but there were no measuring cups or spoons also there was no cheese grater. The fan in the family room was stuck on one speed and couldn't be adjusted. It would be beneficial if there were some words of wisdom regarding the operation of the room thermostat and fan control, and the on-suite shower thermostat - both proved to be a challengeNot with standing the above we enjoyed our stay. Hopefully the above will get rectified before future guest arrive.
Great overnight stay in the Brooklyn Arts District!
My wife and I, along with another couple were in town for a wedding over the weekend and had booked this property for our stay. Despite some booking issues on my end, we had a fantastic stay. The property owner was extremely helpful and understanding with the problems I was having, and even managed to get us checked in early with enough time to eat, get ready, and make it to the wedding on time! The property is very clean, comfortable, secure, and in a great neighborhood in downtown Wilmington with tons of shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance of the property. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!
We loved our stay at the Brooklyn Arts District Condo! The condo was bright and clean. We loved the ability to bring our dogs and the fantastic grassy area next to the building.
I really enjoyed our stay and had no issues. The place was clean and the master bedroom shower is phenomenal! There was 7 of us and we felt we had olenty of space. It was perfect for our gug that hight in Wilmington, had we gotten a hotel we wouldn't have been able to sit and talk with each other comfortably. My only complaint was that we couldn't get an earlier check in or later check out. Though the property owner tried it was based on the cleaning schedule. But still 5 star review!
This was a nice place to stay. Geat location and safe. Anytime you see people out at night jogging without a care in the world, you know you're in a decent location. We were 31 minutes from Wilmington Beach and 23 minutes from Wrightsville Beach, about 8 minutes from the Battleship and just a few minutes from the Riverwalk. You could probably just walk from this location if you don't mind a little walking. There is a bar directly across the street so if you don't like loud live music, I'd suggest not staying on the weekends or perhaps not expecting to get peace and quiet until midnight. During the week I believe the bar hours are until midnight and the weekends until 2am. If you or your kids like seeing military aircraft fly or any aircraft at that, this is a good location to just have the balcony doors open and just sit in the living room and watch them fly by.
The master bedroom is nice and so is the second bedroom. Both beds were really comfortable. The bathrooms are nice as well. The kitchen is spacious and there is enough room for 8 to sit at both the island and table combined. Pretty much everything you need to cook anything is supplied. We're a party of 7 and slept comfortably. My husband, our 9 month old baby, and I, slept in the master bedroom. My two girls, both under 8, slept in the second room. My boys, both under 12, slept on pullout sofa in living room. 3 TV's, plenty of towels and pillows. 2 extra twin beds we didn't need. ❤️
My stay was wonderful. My only complaint was the master shower did not have any hot water. Short of the brisk start to each morning I enjoyed everything else.
The floors were sticky. My 3 year old niece’s feet were black after walking on the floor barefoot. There was a substance on the comforter that was very questionable. The temperature in the master shower we weren’t able to adjust it. The place itself was very cute. Wish it was cleaned better. If I’m paying a cleaning a fee, I feel the place should be clean when I arrive.
The unit was clean and comfortable, very well cared for and exactly like the photos. We enjoyed the location and walked to eat and explore downtown Wilmington. There were no check in instructions provided for Wifi which was an issue for logging into work, but once we asked, the password was provided. There were some minor issues, but if it's a new short term rental, hopefully they'll be resolved. Overall, a great little condo!
