About this property

A cozy cottage located on Great Bay of Damariscotta Lake, was renovated and remodeled in 2013. The charming 1 bedroom retreat has a queen- size mattress and is the perfect getaway with a dock, 2 kayaks, and a canoe waiting to be used as well as a boat launch right on the property. The living room has a full-size sleeper sofa and the kitchen is in the shared open space. There is WI-FI, a Roku TV, a Blu-Ray player and a heat pump unit which provides heating and air- conditioning. I provide all linens, towels, paper products and a complete kitchen with all utensils, ice and basic condiments. The lake is the largest in Lincoln County and is well known for great fishing, boating and swimming. Located in mid-coast Maine close to the towns of Damariscotta, Rockland and Boothbay. Sorry, no pets.

Cozy cottage on the lake!

Perfect little cottage for our stay in Maine. Holly and Mark made the entire process, from booking to departure, super easy! Lovely location on the lake — dock, fire pit, kayaks, canoe — we took advantage of all the amenities.cant wait to return!

Great Lake Vacation

We had an outstanding week on the lake in this charming cottage, we very much enjoyed our time in the cottage and boating/fishing on the lake. Our Host were terrific and very helpful with launching and retrieving our boat. we hope to stay at this location again in the future.

Great place to stay

Was very quiet beautiful place to stay lots to do at the cottage or a short ride away. i would definitely recommend this to a friend. Owner were a pleasure to deal with Hope to be back myself some day!

Can’t wait to come back

It’s really hard to come up with anything new to write as we’ve been staying here for 7 years, but this was another perfect stay. We all love visiting with mark and holly and staying at the cottage and look forward to it each year.

This is our eighth year staying at the cottage. We always love staying here and visiting with Mark and Holly. As usual they went above and beyond to ensure a great time. When leaving I asked both of my kids if they have more fun here or at DisneyWorld (they both love Disney) and they both said they like staying at the cottage better.

Cozy cabin with great view of Damariscotta Lake.

Great location on lake with easy access to towns of Damariscotta, Waldoboro, Rockland and others. The cabin has all you need including a canoe and kayaks. The cabin is comfortable and the view of the lake is priceless. We will be back.

Lovely lake cottage

This is a small, but perfectly outfitted, cottage at the edge of Damariscotta Lake. The views are beautiful and the owners are very helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. We especially loved hearing and seeing the loons. The furniture was comfortable and the grill worked great! We highly recommend this cottage.

Great.

House is perfect for two people. Really well decorated rooms, great location on the lake, includes a dock. Both the owners, Holly and Mark, could not be more accommodating. There is an area on site where you can launch a boat if you bring one. Mark was very helpful in helping me launch my Bass Boat and also was there when it was time to load it back onto the trailer. We will be back for sure next year.

Don't Want to Talk About This PLACE

If I tell too many people about this place it will get overcrowded and that wouldn't be good for me. Among other things, I like quiet, sorta backwater places, with views, water, comfortable chairs and this well maintained cabin has it all. If you like lake living, here you can sit practically on top of the lake. It is a bit of a drive to the sea, but who cares. It is beautiful to be here on the lake and even better to come home to. I had a great time.

Perfection as usual

A little piece of Heaven. We love coming to Mark and Holly's cabin every year. So much so we have booked it 2 years in advance already. They are super nice and accommodating and make you feel so welcome. The cabin is always very clean and every year they've done things to upgrade. Best Cottage on the lake

This is our 6th year staying at Holly and Marks cottage. We look forward to coming back each year. The attention to detail is evident and it sets the cottage apart from the rest. We've stayed at others and they don't compare. They have taken care of everything and we couldn't ask for a better place to stay.
