What a view! This is not just a rental house; this is our beloved second home where our family enjoys the breathtaking beauty that is Lake Lure. Experience year-round dramatic views of Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and the surrounding mountains from the comfort of this 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home. In our opinion, we have one of the best and biggest views on the lake. With easy access to the Boathouse and water, this is what lake living is all about!
The house is welcoming and has plenty of space for families to stretch out. You enter the home through a covered porch, which is a great place to relax after a busy day on the lake. The freshly painted living room greets you as you enter the front door with its newly wood paneled, dramatic vaulted ceiling and rustic antler chandelier. There is a roomy dining room table that can comfortably seat up to 6-8 people. The fully stocked Kitchen was completely remodeled in 2024 with brand-new appliances, cabinets, floating cedar shelves, and high-end Quartzite countertop space for those wanting to whip up a home-cooked meal. Rounding off the main level is a bedroom with a king bed and attached full bathroom that was completely remodeled summer of 2023. Upstairs has two bedrooms - another king bedroom and a bedroom with 2 double beds, along with a shared full bathroom. The basement features a king bedroom, full bathroom, and a pair of bunkbeds. There is also a spacious sectional sofa downstairs with a large tv for those occasional rainy days where a movie sounds just the ticket.
Would you rather spend your time outside? We would! This lake home boasts of 2 covered porches, an open deck, and another landing deck on the way to the boathouse with awesome views of the lake. There are many Adirondack chairs and lounge chairs on the large sundeck for those interested in suntanning. The boathouse has a jumping ledge on the top deck for those bold enough to make the plunge. Grab a float to relax, or use one of our kayaks or paddleboards to explore our cove.
Guest access:
You will have full access to the house and boathouse. There are a few locked closets for the homeowners.
Parking:
Our driveway is steep and narrow, so please exercise caution. Additionally, the driveway is shared with the next-door neighbor. Please do not park next to the neighboring house. Rather, use the space right next to our home. We can only accommodate 3 cars in the driveway.
Things to Note:
Since its purchase in 2022, we have been working hard to make upgrades to our home. We have completed many renovations; however, during your stay, you might see some projects that still need to be finalized.
There is one active security camera facing the driveway.
