Frustrated
Communicated with owner multiple times that we would be arriving around 11-11:30 pm. He replied with the code to the door and to contact him if we have a problem getting in. We arrived at 10:45 pm and the code to the door did not work. Tried contacting owner via phone, text, email no reply. Had to find a place to sleep at midnight. Called owner in the morning no reply until Vrbo was able to get a hold of him if we wanted to stay the owner would reimburse us for the night, I said ok. Gave the owner a call he said he would reimburse us a night go back and try the code again. We headed back and it didn’t work. He was able to unlock the door from his location had us go in and gave a new code and then we had no problems with the door. The place was nicely decorated. Floors were dirty and the couch had crumbs and debris on the sides and underneath cushions leaving it unusable at night.the area is a little shady but you can tell the community is trying to clean it is but there are people sleeping on benches and in the corners day and night. I’ve tried contacting the owner twice regarding the reimbursement with no response. I was hoping this location was going to work as I have family moving close by and it would have been a perfect location to stay.
