About this property
Heritage Cabin
About this space
Enjoy a heritage experience of peace and comfort staying in a rare, unique, well-preserved, & original pioneer cabin built in the 1860s updated with the comforts of the present plus a refridgerator stocked full of fresh & local ingredients to make a fabulous, self-served farm to table breakfast. Locally made chocolates atop your pillow, chilled bubbly, & lavender (distilled by the hostess) spritzed linens are only the beginning . . . Relax, recharge, & reconnect with your stay at Heritage Cabin.
The space
In addition to a fabulous night’s stay in one of four bed options: a “grounding bed” for optimal sleep quality, a feather topped bed for those wanting extra cushion, an antique single sized bed, or a queen-sized sofa bed (not my favorite, but it is a brand new mattress), guests are welcome to use the grounds surrounding the cabin including a covered picnic area and delightful fire pit (marshmallows included!). The heritage cabin is located 1 block east of the heart of Manti with the sounds of the town bells keeping time, 5 1/2 blocks from the historic Manti temple, 1 block to the town’s grocery and gift stores, and 1/2 block to some of the most fantastic pizza Utah has to offer (the creamy sauce and artichokes on the Mediterranean pie are my favorites). We are just a small jaunt away from state renowned ATV trails, day trips to gorgeous national parks such as Bryce Canyon and Arches, as well as minutes away from scenic waterfall hikes and the beautiful Palisade’s lake. Feel free to ask about our farm to table, affordable dinner delivery meal options provided by Chef Leann straight to your candle lit, cabin table (24 hour in advance dinner reservations recommended) or enjoy a relaxing massage next door (literally-20 second walk tops) from the talented therapist, Ms. Peggy at the Therapy Center (advanced notice is strongly encouraged).
The Pioneer Heritage Cabin crew believes in investing in memories and relationships. As part of this, we offer student discounts, returning guest incentives, as well long term stay discounts. Lastly, whether it be helping young local families struggling with cancer or homeless families abroad, it is with sincere thanks to its beloved guests that the Heritage Cabin is able to donate a percentage of every booking to help the sick and afflicted. Gratitude to you and yours and cheers to treasures awaiting you here at the pioneer Heritage Cabin in Manti, Utah!
Guest access
The covered picnic table area outside the cabin, fire pit, and garden areas are more than open and welcome to you and yours to delight in the use of them.
Other things to note
Please —smoking (indoor or around the premises: there is a lot of dried, very flammable wood in these parts), indoor pets, open flames, alcohol, and illegal drugs are prohibited.
Please also note that the cabin features a hand-hewn spiral wooden staircase to the loft where the two bedrooms (divided by a 10 foot privacy wall) and bathroom are located. There is also a antique claw foot tub that serves as both bath and shower (it is so cute—think pioneer/European) thus showers are done sitting down and bubble baths are lavish. Lastly, we are just one block away from the historic Manti Tabernacle. Thus, if mobility, church bells, or blessed tall genes are an issue for you or your loved ones, this might not be the best space to serve you.
