Excellent family stay by the beach
The location is perfect; Dayle was a great host; and the carriage house is perfectly set up for a beach stay. Our family of four (including two kids aged 5 and 7) felt very well cared for. It is an easy walk to the beach, the Santa Monica Pier, 3rd Street Promenade, and Venice Beach. The kids loved the provided beach toys, and we loved the convenient parking and the complimentary bottle of wine. What a great home base when visiting family in LA. Thanks, Dayle!

The most perfect little 'homeaway'
Let me start by saying that the home has everything you need. The kitchen is well appointed, the beds and bedding are comfortable, there are DVDs, wifi and BIKES! No hiring necessary. And then there are the owners. This lovely couple went above and beyond. They were so flexible with check in and check out which really made transitioning between homes a breeze. They left us a gorgeous welcome gift which the kids gobbled up (cookies) and they were genuinely just lovely people. The location is ideal. You walk out the gate down the lane and you are at the beach. The shopping promenade is within walking distance. We found everything to be really accessible from here. Loved it! The perfect way to spend a magical Californian adventure with our kids. We will never forget this place and hope to return soon! Thanks Dayle and Kerry!

Gem of a place, great location
A cozy getaway just a block from the beach and close to good coffee and food options. The carriage house was a great spot for the 2 of us and Dayle was an excellent host. A very positive experience all around!

I absolutely loved my stay at Dayle's home. It is beautifully decorated with many amenities that you need for your stay at the beach. My family and I enjoyed the walkability of the location and went to the beach/pier every day of our stay. I actually walked 13 miles one day - Venice Beach, Marina Del Ray - so enjoyable and beautiful. The pier was the highlight of the trip for my granddaughter. We purchased the wristband which is good for the entire day. We were able to return in the evening to the pier and ride the rides one more time before the day ended. Dayle is a great host - communicates well and it was so easy to "check in". I would love to come back and stay here again!

Charming Cottage in a Perfect Location
We recently stayed at this cozy cottage in Santa Monica and had a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable—just minutes from the beach and Santa Monica Pier. It’s a fantastic home base for exploring everything the area has to offer.While the space is a bit tight for a family of four, it’s well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a charming spot in an ideal location, this cottage is a great choice. We’d happily stay here again!

Location, Location, Location!
This two story cottage was absolutely the perfect location for our visit to the Los Angeles area of Southern California. The host, Dayle, met us as we arrived, handed us keys and parking permits, and we unloaded quickly. The downstairs of the cottage is basically the bedroom and bathroom, and the upstairs is a kitchenette with a sitting room. I need to brag on the shower as the pressure was wonderful and the showerheads were incredible. One of the best parts of every day of my vacation was that shower. There are TVs with DIRECTV on both levels. Everything you could ever want was provided including a nice hard side cooler, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. The kitchen was also fully stocked with plates, glasses, cookware, etc. A coffee maker along with a fresh package of coffee was provided and delicious. The location is within steps of the Santa Monica pier and beach, as well as downtown Santa Monica shopping and restaurants. Parking was fairly easy with permit parking provided out in front of the unit, and if all of the parking was full, there was a permit for a parking lot just down the block, again with an easy walking distance. It is also less than 1 mile from an entrance ramp onto interstate 10 that will take you anywhere you want to go. I’m telling you, you can’t go wrong with this location. 10 out of 10. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely carriage house
This location in Santa Monica was perfectly positioned near the beach and was stocked with most everything we could need for the perfect beach trip. This cut down on what we needed to pack ourselves. We found the location to provide easy parking and highway access for our trips into LA while being near enough to the promenade to walk to restaurants and the pier for other activities. We had a great time and would definitely consider this location for another visit to the area.

Everything you need in a cozy place!
The place was great! Lots of little touches (snacks, wine, toiletries) really made us feel welcomed. Any type of kitchenware you might need is provided, even baking things like cookie sheets and cake pans. Also loved all the beach things provided (boards, umbrella, chairs, towels). Location was amazing and parking was easy. Place was clean and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Host was awesome about being available when we had questions or concerns. Would highly recommend this place! Was perfect!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed 5 nights at Dayles spacious, private 2-story (plus private patio) retreat. Sleeping was luxurious and quiet, home was styled and very well-appointed, beach location was ideal, parking was so convenient, restaurants close. We will return again this year!

Cozy Beach Cottage
A wonderful Cozy Beach Cottage, the cottage is warm and welcoming with everything you need from a well stocked kitchen, adorable decor, great patio to relax and Dayle was friendly and easy to contact.
