Disappointing Unit
This property needs to be addressed on many, many levels. I do plan on writing a detailed letter, which cannot be outlined in this short format. Our stay was reduced to just 2 nights due to the air conditioner NOT cooling the unit.
Unacceptable! I contacted the property management of this issue and they never offered to sent out a technician to look / or repair the problem. Other deficiencies, No ice-maker, no guestbook in the unit, no luggage racks, (we had to place our luggage on the floor, only partial paper towels, no towel bars in any of the bathrooms only door hooks, no kleenex in any of the bathrooms, kitchen had very little stocked items, ie, such as: dishes, pots & pans, kitchen towels, kitchen dishtowels, or anything else. Kitchen cabinets would not close do to the fact that they had been painted over & over again. Windows had no screens, porch had no furniture to even sit outside.
Only 2 plastic chairs outside near the dock area. The Shower floor had a material so slick when wet that my husband almost fell. Several lamps had no bulbs, and the clocks needed new batteries. Since there was no guest book or information book in the unit, there was no additional information provided about the area, such as local restaurants, drug stores, shopping areas, emergency numbers for contact. My notes indicated that I contacted the owner/management company about 4 times, and he never offered to address or correct any of these issues during our stay. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
