Private Vacation Home on Big Moose Lake
This property is nestled on 16 acres of forest with 400 feet of frontage on big moose lake. The surrounding mountains can be viewed from a private wraparound deck and dock. Sunsets can be spectacular. The property is contiguous to the pigeon Lake wilderness
The space
This property sleeps five. The main lodge sleeps three. Bedroom one has two twin beds. Bedroom two has one twin bed. Additionally, a guest house sleeps two on two twin beds. The guest house utilizes the full bath in the main lodge and rents only with the main lodge.
The entire property rents for a minimum of seven nights on a Saturday to Saturday basis. The guest must bring their own linens. Refer to the house rules in the details section.
Guest access
Take a hike on the many trails, fish off of the dock, watch the wildlife, and hear the eerie yet magical call of the loons. Revel in the natural beauty of this setting that is yours to explore! This property is on the East end of 3 mile long Big Moose Lake. Since this lake has limited public access you can truly enjoy a rejuvenating experience in a mountainous wilderness area with remote lakes and ponds. Paddle the canoe provided to the inlet marsh owned by NYS where great blue heron, ducks, beavers, otters, osprey, eagles, deer, bear, fox, turkeys, and maybe a moose may be seen. Relax in front of the stone fireplace (wood included).
Bring your boat! A private deep water dock Is included with Rental.
All this plus high speed, hardwired, Internet conductivity from Frontier Communications.
Other things to note
Linens are not provided. This means that guests must supply sheets for twin beds, pillow cases, and towels. Blankets and comforters are provided. To determine your exact bedding requirement, see the property description for the sleeping arrangement you need. Remember, each bed needs one set of sheets and one pillowcase.
Guests must bring their own drinking water for consumption and cooking.
Smoking and pets are not allowed.
