The house is very nice, and the owner has done an incredible job decorating the house. It is a place you can totally relax and have a good time. There is so much you can do in the area and the owner can give you advice on all of the things you might like to do. We had a great time!
Overall, it was a great experience here. My only issue was every dish that we grabbed was dirty. And all the ice trays had hair or cheese or something in them. Not a big deal, but we had to wait for ice. The grill was dirty. I had to scrub that from the last person who stayed. Overall, it was a beautiful time here.. Favorite part was looking at the stars.
We appreciated a very nice and secluded place to stay with all the modern amenities at a reasonable cost. Our host was nice, timely in communications and had a “caring” attitude.
We stayed 3 nights and loved it. Great location, quiet neighborhood, beautiful house. It is also in a good location for exploring southern and central Colorado, within an hour and a half of many amazing spots while being out of the city. The back yard is beautiful, and you have mountain views from there as well as the balcony. Host was quick and responsive, and very professional.
The property was 3 min drive from where our family had got together good location clean quiet just what we needed will definitely recommend to family and friends looking for a lil get away
We were only there for one night but truly enjoyed this spacious, quiet, very clean lovely house. Perfectly located outside of town. We would most definitely stay here again. Thank you Jessica for your quick responses.
We had a great time at Jessi’s home! Owner is extremely responsive and accommodating!! Great hiking within an hour from the location and just removed enough to enjoy some quiet.
Fenced in yard and plenty of living space, but the bathroom is only accessible through the master bedroom.
This was an awesome place to stay. Big enough that if my husband, son, and parents had come too, there would have been enough room without feeling too crowded. Very nicely put together, and great communication with the host. I will definitely be booking this one again when we are back in Walsenburg!!

What a beautiful home! We had 4 adults with us, and had plenty of room. Being from the city, I can't tell you how incredible the skies were at night. Just gorgeous! Jessi was responsive and extremely pleasant. Five stars!!

I loved the whole thing. I want to return, when i can just stay there for fun. We had to be up there for a celebrstion of sorts, that took alot of our time. But it was a swell little dwelling. I wish I was there now-for like a week! Just to chill!
Good value for the money. Lots of space. Only one bathroom, and you have to walk through the master bedroom to use it... less than ideal at night. Neighborhood not too inspiring. But it was good for us to do the Stone Century Bike Ride out of La Veta. Recommend.
We enjoyed our stay at the "Spacious Haven with Balcony." The owner was very responsive and the unit had everything we really needed. Would have liked a little more information on the unit's layout. For example, the bathroom is upstairs and only accessible by going through the master bedroom. Also, the balcony is above another unit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is conveniently off Hwy 160 and close to multiple outdoor sites and drives. Make aure to ask the owner for things of interest in the area. She gave us some great ideas that we loved. Communication was easy and had quick response times. The house has an open floor planwith two bedrooms and a bath upstairs. The balcony off the master bedroom was wonderful for watching the night sky.
The only reason we gave it a 4-star on location is because of neighborhood barking dogs. That is not the fault of the owner.
We booked to be close to a small home we'd just purchased that will need work. Jessi, our host, was there when we checked in with a warm welcome. Her home was nothing short of fantastic. The deck in the back yard overlooking the natural landscape was beautiful topped off with Disc Golf - something we've not seen before in a VRBO home. So fun!Our stay included a day "snowed in" and we couldn't have been more comfortable enjoying such a beautiful spot while drinking Kona coffee. Thank you Jessi!

About the host
Hosted by Jessi
I'm was born in San Diego and have lived in various states/cities. I felt drawn to Colorado even though I had not explored yet and moved here in 2011. I love the outdoors! Hiking is my most favorite physical activity and it is also the best medicine in my opinion. I will be out camping as much as possible during the spring/summer/fall. Also, love offroading in my Taco and finding paths less traveled! I'm passionate about taking care of and helping others. I thrive when seeing/knowing all beings are content and truly enjoy being a host. I've been an Airbnb Superhost/VRBO host since 2021. Gratefully, I have learned so much about what is the best hospitality and will continue to grow any way I can. I'm a Project Manager by day and love dancing the night away. I am a very proud mom of one awesome son who is my Millennium baby, born 1/1/2000! Thank you for reading.
