Nightmare Cottage
To keep it short, this property was not depicted as indicated online nor the photos. The property was dirty with dead bugs, roaches and bug droppings throught the home. There was a heavy smell of mold. Hair all over thesheets in the master bedroom. There was cobwebs and dust throught the home. A rat trap was found in the room my children were supposed to sleep in. Dead bugs on extra linens in dresser. fecal droppings in dresser of master bedroom. The fridge had some sort of mold or fungus, the oven was filthy and the list goes on and on. We DID NOT stay in the property and was fourtunate to find last minute accomadations for our week stay. The host was not attentive after we contacted him to advise of the homes condition upon arrival and requested for us to handle the matter the next day as he was in bed (9:30 p.m.) we drove 14hrs and was dealt a bad hand. They offered us half our money and we respectively declined. They acknowledge the property is problemtic but still felt entitled to half the amount for the stay that we COULD NOT use due to the condition the home was in.
NOT CLEAN, INFESTED AND NOT ACCOMADATING.
This host and VBRO could have potentially ruined our Christmas family vacation.
