About this property

Luxurious estate venue in Upstate NY in the Catskill Mountains. Perfect for large gatherings for Indoor & Outdoor Weddings, Family Reunions, Corporate Retreats and/or any type of Special Event.

Our Rustic Country-Chic Wedding Venue will seat up to 225 guests inside the "White Birch Banquet Hall" which is located below the Entertainment Lodge. This is available upon request, please contact me for additional pricing information.
The ceremony site is set-up along the river with rows or custom made log benches.

Please check out our other adjoining estate; DeerRidge Estate (sleeps up to 40 guests)

RiverView Estate accommodates a large group of 32 overnight guests in addition to offering luxurious amenities with over 1000 acres of private and pristine mountain forest land and 1 mile of riverfront frontage on the East Branch of the Upper Delaware River which is well-known for the finest fly-fishing in the United States.

RiverView Estate includes the Main House, 3 Bedroom Cottage and Entertainment Lodge with additional suite, which included elegant furnishings and the best that can be offered. A private swimming pool is also available during spring and summer and has the option of being heated for an additional fee.

The Main House consists of 5 bedrooms 4.5 baths. Also available is an exercise room, an indoor hot tub, and a dry sauna. The living room off the kitchen and the main bedroom includes a fireplace.

The Entertainment Lodge has 2 bedrooms which includes a gorgeous bath with a steam shower, a large kitchen, pool table, living area with fireplace. The additional suite in the entertainment lodge includes a private bedroom with a queen size bed and the open suite area has one queen bed, one double bed and a full kitchen. This suite shares a bathroom.

The 3 Bedroom Cottage has 3 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, 2 baths, full kitchen and living room with fireplace.

When available you can combined RiverView Estate & DeerRidge Estate to accommodate a party of 72 guests.

DeerRidge Estate is located just a short distance from RiverView Estate which accommodates a party of 40 guests. This 3 unit estate consists of 3 full kitchen, living rooms and dining areas along with a large sports bar with pool table, 17 bedrooms and 12 full bathrooms.

Each estate can satisfy anyone's endeavors, whether it being hiking, cross-country skiing, swimming and fishing.

We are fully staffed 24/7. This allows us to make sure that your every need is met. Our Estates do offer a concierge and housekeeping staff for an additional fee. Other services that can be provided at different rates, please inquire.

We are only 45 minutes away from Bethel Woods and 2.5 hours from NYC.

Wonderful Estate

This estate provided a wonderful experience for our annual Family Reunion (four generations). The lodging was spacious, comfortable, and flowing. The back deck, off the main house, was the popular gathering spot. And the oversized kitchen and great-room in the entertainment house was fantastic for our dinners and post dinner gatherings. Lastly, the property manager (Walter) was great to engage with; very friendly, available, and responsive.

Lovely location with great facilities

We held our company onsite on this location and rented both homes that are part of this property. We can highly recommend these facilities. They are well equipped, clean and in a lovely location. The host is super responsive and flexible. We all loved it!

Wonderful property

We held our wedding here, with about 30 guests. The estate was so beautiful and our wedding couldn't have been better. Walter, the property manager, was so accommodating, and he gave us a great tour of the property when we first checked in. He was always available if we needed help with anything, but he gave us plenty of space where we didnt feel restricted at all. The property had enough rooms where everyone could spread out and have their own space. All the amenities were excellent, and we'll definitely come back!

This is a beautiful estate! It was great to have a family gathering. They are quick to respond and made the whole process smooth. Gale checked in with our group and was lovely. Walter was awesome and was there to help us with any need. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Beautiful location, wonderful getaway for large group

We had an amazing time - we were a large group, over 20, and everyone had space and things to do. Wonderful sitting porches for our older family members, delightful pool for playing in or lounging by, large hot tub, basketball, hiking, plenty of kitchens, fire pits, corn hole, we cruised through our days enjoying the views and the peacefulness and togetherness while the kids stayed entertained. Walter was very responsive when we had questions and was right on hand to meet any need that arose. We had a family reunion of sorts with a small wedding in the middle and this venue was exactly perfect. Not super fancy, which made it all the more comfortable, and just right and beautiful. We would love to come back every year with our group.

What a great location. Far enough away from others, but close enough to stores.

From check-in to check-out, the staff was always on the ball. The facility was well maintained and had all of the amenities plus! We had 22 people and half of them are under 16 years old. I would stay here again.

Best Winter Getaway

We were a party of 26, ages ranging from 3 months old - 60+. There was more than enough room to sleep all comfortably. We occupied three lodgings: the cottage, the main house and the entertainment house. Walter attended to our needs without delay and made the check in/check out process seamless. The views surrounding the property (mountains covered in snow) were absolutely serene. I stayed in the Master Bedroom located in the main house. It was truly fit for a Queen and King. We are looking forward to a Spring/Summer stay. We will surely book another stay in the near future. You will not be disappointed!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

We booked this as a weekend getaway for a group of couples for my partner's birthday. Walter (property manager, on call 24/7 for your stay) and Gale (owner) were both extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive from before we arrived through until the moment we left. All couples were able to have their own space and, with 3 kitchens (we did not rent the additional space in the cabin), we were able to pull off large group meals without a hitch! Do note, while the kitchen is fully stocked in regards to pots/pans/utensils, there were not any kitchen basics (salt, pepper, oil) so you will need to bring your own. The hot tub, sauna, pool table and fire pits provided plenty of entertainment even through the winter months. Since our trip, we have all talked about a return visit next year and one couple even discussed booking their wedding at the venue! 5 out of 5 stars all the way - This is a must rent!

I could not have asked for a more perfect house the location and cleanliness was perfect

I rented this property for my partners birthday and invited our family and friends I ended up proposing and it was perfect the home is beautiful the pictures do it no justice you have to see it in person the views were breath taking it was totally private and the costumer service was impeccable if we needed anything he was there within mins very attentive and welcoming we are planning to return many more times I would highly recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing weekend at Riverview Estate!

I organized a ten year class reunion here for 30 friends, and it was perfect. The property was just as advertised, and my friends had a blast. We particularly enjoyed the layout of the three structures, which allowed those of us who wanted quieter, earlier nights to sleep in the guest house. The four kitchens meant plenty of storage and cooking space for everyone, and all of the kitchens were some of the best-stocked with cooking items that we've ever seen in a rental property. The hot tub, sauna, and pool were awesome perks, and the BBQ on the property is quite large which made the nights we grilled that much easier. Many of our group were already asking if we should do our next reunion here on day one of our stay! Highly recommended!

Spacious, polished, amazing property!

Everything was clean, spacious, comfortable, warm, and plentiful, and there was plenty to do with the property being so huge! Tons of fun and excellent customer service whenever had any questions about anything. Awesome hot tub, ample kitchen and dining space, great game room... everything was excellent. Would definitely love to come back and would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Gorgeous and Relaxing Get Away

We could not have asked for anything more! Not only was the premises breathtakingly beautiful and spacious, but Gale and her team were so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. We stayed for 3 full days and 3 nights and did not have to nor want to leave the estate the entire time - it had everything we needed from silverware and cutlery to pots and pans to dishwashers, plenty of space both inside and outside for activities, a hot tub, and fire pits at each of the three houses on the estate. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Well-Kept House

I could not speak more highly of RiverView Estate. Not only is the property huge and gorgeous, but the care that the owner takes is on another level. They did everything that they could to make sure that our stay was comfortable and warm. The beds are comfortable, the amenities well-kept, and the owners flexible. Great place for a long weekend with friends/family

Riverview Estate by Brophy is a great place to spend a long weekend with friends or family! The accommodations are clean and comfortable. Additionally there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied during your entire stay. Gale is very responsive and attentive to any needs that may arise. I recommend for anyone who is looking for a weekend getaway in the woods!

Beautiful property! Great for activities!

The Brophy RiverView Estate was magnificent! Gale, the owner, was so hospitable and welcoming. Her home was beautifully furnished and perfect for our group of 30 (so many bedrooms!). Kristen, the property manager, was really helpful and willingly suggested hikes in the area as well as caterers. The view was lovely. The pool was warm and kid friendly (fully fenced in!) Even though our weekend was a bit rainy, we still had a great time playing outside, making bonfires every night and having lovely meals together. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Brophy Estates!

The Best wedding venue!

I am literally in tears right now as I start to even think about writing a review for this place! This is the most AMAZINGLY gorgeous hands down BEST estate/hotel/wedding venue in the world. I cannot say enough about how amazing our time here was. But I’m gonna try because I have read so many reviews for wedding venues and let me tell you the Truth (as every bride wants to know) about Brophy Estates.. when we first viewed the estate we met Debbie the sweetest nicest person we ever had give us a tour of anything lol (we saw Atleast 20venues) she took us to room after room and when u thought it was over hold on.. cuz it only gets better! There was so much room so much space for family, so many unique little trinkets or pictures everywhere you felt like you were at home. We saw what was being turned into a reception hall and it was empty at the time. Gale came by to meet us and we were sold right then and there she is the sweetest person but beyond that she told us what this hall would be with beautiful birch wood trees and lanterns from the ceiling... When we finally booked the venue Kristen was helpful answering questions for us. (Do you have a keruig for my mom?! Lol ) We were nervous when we got there about how it would look but gale did NOT disappoint.. it is truly amazing romantic and so perfect. The day before my wedding I was bridezilla running around with my DIY lanterns that I decided I didn’t like last minute.. to my surprise gale called me to wish me the best and heard in my voice I was not happy about my centerpieces she came by in 10 mins.. changed out my centerpieces for me and made me the happiest bride ever! I was in such awe at how perfect this staff is.. I called Debbie cuz the tv was not working the first morning (cuz of rain damn direct tv) but she and tony came by and immediately attended to every need and question we had!(Debbie and Tony are hysterical ask them about anything they will make your day with their fun stories) My wedding day called for rain.. my fiancé’s dream was to have the wedding by the river and it was a-little wet..Walter (THE BEST) came with hay to make sure no one got wet and my husband could have the wedding of his dreams! We had some grandparents who couldn’t walk that far to the river site and Walter drove them down! We are so so thankful so appreciative of everything they did for our special day but not only that I feel like we made new friends and family!

Amazing Weekend! Wonderful Hosts!

Last weekend, the non-profit organization that I volunteer for hosted our 4th annual Healing of the Heart Retreat - a retreat for 25 women who have lost a child to congenital heart defects. We rented both the Riverview and Deer Ridge Estates and could not be more pleased with our experience and the superb service that we received while there. The properties are both beyond BREATHTAKING, and provided a serene escape for these women and those of us hosting this retreat. From our first contact with the property managers, through our close out of the weekend we were so impressed with how much effort this family and their employees put into making our stay special. We had the owners number on hand and were able to contact her with any questions throughout the weekend, and this truly made our task of hosting this retreat easier. Because we were hosting such a large group of women, and needed private beds for each person attending, we chose to rent both properties, which are just a short walk from each other. Each property has plenty of space to host large group gatherings, entertainment areas and lovely sleeping quarters for all of its guests. We could not be more pleased with our experience there, and the love and compassion that went into making our stay amazing. We will definitely be back to host our next retreat this fall!
