--THE SPACE--
As you crest the top of the ridge and head down to the cabin the panoramic mountain views will begin to emerge. Park in the circular drive and head on in the step free entryway to your Smoky Mountain retreat! As you enter the front door you will immediately be met with a wall of windows and glass doors inviting the outside into the cabin. The cabin itself has a real "tree house" feel both inside and outside alike. Feel free to place your luggage in the bedroom to the right of the living room and head on out to the screened in porch to take in the views and stretch your legs from the drive.

When you're ready to get settled in you will find a comfy and large couch in the living room along with a 48" Smart TV with high speed internet. Perfect for streaming your favorite show. The cathedral ceilings and mostly wooden interior will give you a warm and cozy, yet, spacious feeling while enjoying the indoor spaces. The interior wood flooring was locally sourced, then milled, from a family property for an even more authentic mountain feel. All of the windows serve as a portrait of perfection for enjoying the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains. There isn't a bad seat in the house! Enjoy the variations for all seasons as well as throughout the day. The kitchen is fully stocked for whipping up a home cooked meal after a day of exploring the area. You will find a drip coffee maker and coffee filters provided for you as well. Coffee is a must while listening to the birds or watching the morning fog roll through the valley below. For a small family with children we do provide a large queen sized blow up mattress in the living room closet with sheets and pillows as well.

The bedroom also features tall ceilings of whitewashed knotty pine tongue and groove with accented wooden beams. Just beautiful! You will find a plush, hybrid memory foam King Sized Bed with reading lanterns on each side of the bed. Utilize the antique refrigerator as a good place for unpacking some of your luggage. Very unique! There is another 48" Smart TV for enjoying an evening show or a movie marathon on a rainy day. Again, the windows will bring the outside in and you will feel engulfed in the tree tops. Even better, you will have spectacular sunset views from the bedroom as well as direct access to the screened in porch through the french doors. There is also access to the "jack n' jill" bathroom from the bedroom as well. This is one of the best bedroom setups you will find that's for sure!
The full bathroom features a standard toilet, vanity, and an extra large shower with a two headed shower system and bench. For longer stays, you will find a washer and dryer for guest use.

The outside space here is a real treat. The screened in deck has rocking chairs as well as lounge seats for taking in those sunsets or relaxing on a rainy day. Don't sleep on the raining day experience here; or even better go ahead take a nap! There is also a picnic table on the uncovered portion of the deck on the back of the cabin. The side deck of the cabin features another outdoor table and seating as well as a gas grill for those Summer BBQ's! The outdoor space at this small cabin is second to none! Bryson City is an outdoor adventurer's paradise!

We would love to host you for a romantic getaway or a small family retreat while exploring the Bryson City and Cherokee area of the Great Smoky Mountains. Get in touch with us at Smoky Mountain Stays with any questions you may have.

Birthday/Anniversary getaway
On the 24th of June I decided that I was going somewhere for my birthday which is the 28th of June and my anniversary is the 1st of July so I and my wife wrapped it all into one. Such a lovely romantic couple spot, with awesome views and great amenities. Such as the bedroom connected to the screen in deck. Watching the sun set in the evening and the Sun rise in the morning was a beautiful experience for my wife and I. If you're thinking about reserving this cabin for your wife significant other partner please don't waste another thought and go ahead and reserve.!!

The view!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed our meals on the deck; both the screened in and outdoor areas. The drive up is typical for this sort of property. I'd say better than most. Only the driveway is unpaved and that is well graded. No problem at all for our 2wd Honda CRV.

We had a restful and relaxing stay. Complete privacy, beautiful view and loved that screened porch. Access is a little difficult with the steep climb but the road is in good condition. Great location easy to get into town and close to grocery store. Also central to a lot of sights and destinations.
