Guest Access:
You’ll have the entire house and private yard to yourself for the duration of your stay.

The Neighborhood:
You’ll be a short drive from some of our favorite local spots, including the Joshua Tree Saloon, Crossroads Cafe, and shops like the Mincing Mockingbird and the Rock Shop where you can find crystals, gifts, and local art for sale. On weekends, the local farmer’s market offers fresh produce, grass-fed meats, and various artisan goods. Our home is a short (~12 minute) drive from the Joshua Tree National Park entrance.

Getting Around:
PARKING:
Street parking is NOT permitted by the County. Please be sure to keep all cars parked in designated parking spots in order to avoid tickets, fines, and/or towing of vehicles.

**IMPORTANT:**
We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification.

**PLEASE NOTE:**
Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking.

HOT TUB:
We offer a hot tub with LED lighting. It is serviced and balanced prior to arrival and heated to 100 degrees Fahrenheit for your convenience.

FAMILY & PETS:
We are family and dog friendly! Children 2 years old and above must be included as part of the total guest count. Please send us your dog's breed and age when booking. We do require a $100 pet fee and ask that you agree to our pet policy. We offer dog beds and dog bowls available for your convenience. Please keep pets off of all furniture including sofas and bedding, to minimize the risk of additional cleaning charges or unforeseen accidents or damages. Please be sure to pick up after your pet and dispose of waste in the proper garbage bins located near the driveway. Please see our House Rules for more information.

EXTRA GUESTS:
Guest count must not exceed the occupancy of the property. Keep in mind there is an added $50/night (plus booking fees & taxes) per guest for additional guests if approved. Any day guests must be approved prior to arrival. Day guests must leave by 10pm and are limited to a total of 4 guests. Children are considered as part of the total guest count.

VENDORS:
Please note that the pool & spa are serviced before and after every arrival and departure. For bookings of 3 days or more, our technicians will provide a complementary mid-stay cleaning and balance. They will not enter the home but need to access the backyard. Landscaping and gardening service is on Fridays or on an as-needed basis based on weather demands.

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBORS! We are in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Please follow our County’s Good Neighbor Policy of no outside noise after 10pm and before 8am. Guests must refrain from any outdoor music, noise, or other disruptions that may cause a disturbance to the community during quiet hours. Failure to respect quiet hours may result in the cancellation of your reservation without a refund.

RESPECT:
There are strict county ordinances regarding excessive noise and light pollution after 10pm. Please respect our neighbors, and refrain from loud noises and outdoor music by 10pm. The home is equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Removing the decibel monitor will result in a full security deposit loss and/or additional charges. Sink into the sounds of desert solitude, peaceful nights, and starry stars...

CHERISH:
Some of the things visitors to the high desert cherish the most are clean air, mesmerizing night skies, and the abundance of wildlife and fauna. Cigarette butts, trash and food left on the ground can hurt our precious ecosystem.

CLEANING:
Health & safety is our number one priority. Our in-house cleaning team is trained on CDC and WHO protocols. We take extra measures to ensure the home is sanitized and safe before every arrival. For this reason, we aren’t able to offer early check-ins or late check-outs. Thank you for understanding!

PHOTOSHOOTS & VIDEOS:
If you’re interested in doing a photoshoot or video shoot for commercial/business use, please share the details of your project ahead of time. You MUST get approval beforehand! If approved, we have an additional fee for licensing and usage. Photoshoots for your personal social media accounts are welcomed!

WILDLIFE:
You’re surely guaranteed to encounter wildlife on your stay including families of Quail, rare Albino lizards, insects, snakes, coyotes, and endangered tortoises and kangaroo mice. Please use caution when outside, especially at night with any pets and children.

NO SMOKING:
No smoking or burning candles. This is a non-smoking home. Any and all smoking should be kept outdoors at least 15 feet away from any exterior doors. There will be a $250 charge for anyone not honoring this guideline.

BACKYARD FENCING:
While we do have fencing around the entire property, please always keep an eye on your pets and children. Desert critters don't find fencing to be a deterrent to them in our shared habitat.

EV CHARGER:
We do offer an EV charger - level 2, tesla only 220 volts, 12-35 miles per hour. There is also a Tesla Supercharger conveniently located in town, as well as a public EV charging station nearby at Joshua Tree Distillery, which allows charging for up to 2 hours per day.

Beautifully decorated desert escape
Our family including 3 preteen and teen children and 1 dog absolutely loved staying in this home. Everything looked just as pictured and felt sparkly clean and fresh. The backyard was large and fenced with uninterrupted views of the desert landscape and mountains. Watching the sunrise every morning was magical! The game room was a big hit with 3 arcade units, ping pong table, dart board, and shuffle board. There was also a TV and day bed with bathroom in the garage space that would have comfortably slept another person if needed. The larger bedroom with on-suite bathroom (presumably the master) had a queen and a twin in it. We used this room for our sons due to the 2 beds. All the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. No extra condiments besides salt and pepper for cooking. Also no crockpot, instant pot, rice cooker mixing bowls, muffin tins, or electric griddle. None of these are necessary just helpful to know when trying to plan meals or shop in advance. The coffee maker has drip and pod functionality. There is a toaster, blender, and microwave. The owners were very responsive and replied immediately via email and were very kind and understanding when we had a mishap with a broken dish. This has to be 1 of our very favorite homes we've stayed in over the years. Even our teenage sons couldn't stop exclaiming about how great it was decorated and comfortable it was to spend time in.
