This property was awesome! It had the perfect layout for both kids and fur children. The house was lovely, clean, and inviting. We will definitely stay here again.
We had the absolute best stay at this dog-friendly VRBO! From the moment we arrived, it was clear the owners had gone above and beyond to make both humans and pups feel welcome. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay — even thoughtful touches like dog water bowls, towels, couch covers, and toys for our dogs! The fenced yard was a huge bonus, giving our dogs plenty of safe space to run and play while we relaxed on the patio and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We also loved the daily visits from elk and deer. It’s rare to find a place that feels like home away from home, but this rental exceeded all of our expectations. We can’t wait to come back for another stay. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to Strawberry!
Wow. This property was more than expected. It’s honestly better than described. The fenced in yard was perfect for our pooch. There were elk around the house every day. Plenty of great views. We don’t normally plan on going up to Strawberry during the summer, but this property is going to change that. There wasn’t a need to reach out to our host, as there wasn’t anything even close to an issue or problem. Thank you for such a great thoroughly thought through property allowing our dog.
We were so fortunate to find such amazing accommodations away from the busy bustle of the city, which also provided clean, crisp mountain air. The locale is lovely, weather was wonderful, and communication with host was as exceptional as everything else. We brought our 2x dogs, and they enjoyed the fully-fenced yard as much as we adored the breathtaking views. We certainly hope to plan a return visit.
The property was beautiful, both outside and inside. What a great lovely little cabin in the woods. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We Loved the elk herd! We really enjoyed our restful weekend. The peace and quiet made our getaway amazing and exactly what we were looking for, a chance to recharge the batteries!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. The listing photos are very accurate. The kitchen is fully stocked which is great for those who want to cook. The fenced yard was perfect for our labrador. We had visits from several varieties of wildlife outside the fence, which was perfect. The neighborhood is good for walking if you don't mind a few hills and close to plenty of other hiking trails.
Interaction with the owner was great! Hopefully we'll be back next summer!!
The house and property were wonderful. As soon as we walked in, my 10 year old threw his arms around my neck and said "thank you mommy!". My parents and I very much enjoyed ALL the patios and porches (There are 3! Facing in three different directions so you can enjoy the different times of day). Taylor was easy to communicate with! It was nice to have direct communication with a human instead of through an automated app.
We stayed at the property for 2 nights with our two dogs and had a very relaxing and nice time. The yard has a tall fence so our dogs couldn't jump over.
The house is very cozy and nicely decorated. It has everything we needed for our trip. We will definitely stay here again!
We really enjoyed our morning coffee on the back porch and the beautiful view of the forest around. We saw a lot of elk very close to the house and it was super cool to see those magnificent animals up so close.
The house is really close to the hiking trails and to the Pine and Strawberry towns.
The hosts were responsive and answered our questions quickly.
We can't wait to come back here.
