This captivating fusion of antique charm and elegance features a large gunite pool with a spa-pool, an outdoor fire pit, and lush private gardens spanning 6.5 acres that unveil their magic as soon as you arrive.
Approaching the home, the main house stands tall with its antique stone walls. Steeped in history as the former grounds of the Hartwood Post Office, it has been transformed into a stunning modern home. Here, fresh interior design ideas coalesce seamlessly with the home's charming rustic aura.
Sitting on 6.5 acres of lush private gardens, you can enjoy walking the meandering paths that lead you through this botanical paradise with a beautiful natural pond, completing picture-perfect vistas. Seating areas scattered throughout invite you to savor the stunning views that stretch to the horizon.
Alfresco dining on the open terrace with its beautiful pergola, where nature and foliage create the backdrop for unforgettable moments. The partially covered terrace hosts the BBQ grill for easy cooking and dining together. Gather around the outdoor fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars.
In the landscaped gardens, a stunning large gunite (unheated) pool awaits with a waterfall feature and a hot tub. Enjoy a refreshing swim or soak in the hot tub section with jets, blower, and lights. The sun loungers in the manicured gardens offer the perfect vantage point to bask in the beauty that surrounds you.
Throughout the main home, spaces designed for connection and relaxation await. The cozy living room, adorned with a flat-screen TV and an exposed stone fireplace, invites you to unwind and lose yourself in its warm embrace. A second sitting room, graced by yet another fireplace, offers an additional cocoon of coziness.
The fully equipped kitchen, a haven for culinary creativity, with top-of-the-line appliances, dark wood cabinetry, and granite countertops. Adjacent, the indoor dining table for ten promises memorable meals together.
As the day fades into night, retreat to the master bedroom, where a very comfortable queen bed awaits. The ensuite bathroom is a marvel, featuring a mosaic-tiled walk-in shower to pamper your senses. Two guest bedrooms, each adorned with queen beds, share a bathroom boasting a spacious walk-in shower and a bathtub. Ascend to the 3rd-floor bedroom to find a delightful children's room with twin beds, a creativity station, a reading nook, and a treasure trove of games and books.

Guest Access:

Caretakers and Landscaping Schedules:
- Pool
Ric at TriState Pools takes care of the pool and comes every Thursday or Friday morning to vacuum and be sure the water is perfectly balanced, and everything is working well. The pool is saltwater, so we reduce the use of harsh chemicals
- Lawns
The lawns are maintained by Erik who usually mows and weed whacks on Monday and Tuesday afternoons (depending on weather) usually between 3 and 6
- Gardens
The gardens are maintained by Bonnie and Dodo – Bonnie comes every other Thursdays between 9:30 and 3 (she is local) and Dodo travels in every 3 weeks and stays in the gardener’s cottage on the back 1/4 of the property for 3 days. She is very respectful and works from 9-5 in the gardens and you will barely even know she is there.
The gardeners are currently schedule to visit the property during the following weeks for the 2024 season:
- July 29
