Romantic Log Cabin Nestled in Wooded Setting on Lake Wilipyro

This charming cabin is perfect for a solitary retreat or a romantic getaway for two. This lovely year-round log cabin is one of seven cabins on eight secluded, wooded acres with 950 feet of frontage on a crystal clear 77 acre Lake Wilipyro. Also surrounded by the Chequamegon National Forest. Your vacation rental includes a canoe. There is an outdoor grill, fire pit and a picnic table. The cabin has a cozy gas fireplace in the living room area to warm you on chilly Northwoods evenings. The romantic cabin for two has a comfortable double bed. Please bring your own personal towels while on vacation. This unique northwoods vacation cabin includes a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave and utensils. The living room area with fireplace also has two hand-made custom wood rocking chairs for the perfect northwoods experience. Relax and read a book or watch the wildlife. There is a wood-fired sauna on the property that is a separate building from the main cabin. Great for that relaxing vacation getaway experience. Hear the haunting cry of the loons and the lap of the waves at water's edge. There will be an additional room tax fee of 4% added on to each reservation.

Cozy Cabin in Cable

This cabin was a perfect cozy getaway for New Years Eve. The wood fired sauna was a perfect way to relax on a cold day. I would recommend this property to others who want a nice way to quietly relax in the north woods.

Perfect for two

Cute and cozy cabin for two. Overall a quiet and peaceful setting to relax and unwind. Pontoon boat dock was perfect for watching and listening to the loons! Would highly recommend this cabin.

Much Needed Solitude

This is our second stay and it was as delightful as our first. The cabin is cozy, clean and has all one needs to live comfortably in the woods. A nice sized, quiet lake free from audacious powerboats with a canoe to use launched from a pontoon dock. As they say, "time flies when you are having fun". Sadly, it's back to the big city we must go.

Perfect cabin

This gem of a cabin was perfect for my stay for a quiet, secluded spot on a beautiful lake, complete with loons. I wanted a few days to reset and hear my own thoughts, before returning to my busy routine. I'll be back for another visit!

So comfy and cozy

Exceptionally clean, cute, everything you need and more! Upon entry I was so happy at what I saw; I had wished we could have stayed much longer! It was perfect for us! And it came complete with the beautiful sounds of nature, including the call of the loons in the lake! Beautiful serene setting!

A Peaceful Retreat

Great Cabin and Experience

The cabin is a very nice small one room open concept with kitchen, dinette, and bedroom all in one room with a gas fireplace that keeps you nice and cozy warm. It also has a full bathroom. Right outside is a grill and fire ring with seating for two and just a few steps away is an awesome sauna hut that has a very nice and large sauna space. Perfect size for two people. Great place to stay right on the lake.

Lovely Cottage

We had a fabulous 5 days on your beautiful lake. Canoeing was a highlight (family of otters, 2 swans and several loons). There was some confusion regarding exactly where the key was hidden and check in time but all easily resolved. A neighbor requested that we park in a different spot due to noise from our car waking him in the morning but we were happy to accommodate. All in all a beautiful stay at a beautiful cabin.

Sweet getaway

This is a well appointed cabin. We really loved the dock, spent hours enjoying the peaceful lake. The lounges and umbrella are excellent amenities. Perfect weekend but be mindful the bed is a full size.

Unique and cozy

We returned because we enjoy this cabin so much. Heat is provided by a gas fireplace on thermostat and we were warm and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Although the location is quiet and beautiful, the WiFi worked well. Many thanks.

We are a Northwoods family that owns a small family resort in Winter, Wi. Last year we decided to buy this unique cabin to have as our own getaway. We decided to also make this available for rent although we love to escape frequently to fish and sun off of the pontoon boat pier.

Why they chose this property

Cable is a jewel in Northwest, Wi. It has beautiful lakes and scenery. The town is charming with great amneties. The cross-country skiing and biking are some of the best nationwide. We use this place as an escape from work.

What makes this property unique

The cabin is quaint and charming. It is like staying on Walden's pond with power. It is a quiet no-wake lake so we never hear the sounds of jet skis or motors racing around the lake. Wildlife is plentiful.
