Stay at Pine Island

Everything was what we expected. Very clean place. Downfalls I would say first of all, the main bed is very uncomfortable. Only found a few towels until the second to the last day. The second toilet never flushed well. Both showers, the drain seamed clogged and you stood in water for all of your shower. I believe they both need to be cleaned out. Other than that, we liked the property.

Retreating at Peaceful Retreat

We spent 3 weeks here in February and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is well set up for easy living. It has 3 patio doors, all leading to the beautiful heated pool. The neighborhood is very quiet. It is well situated on the island to get to both ends of the island quickly. It’s close to shopping. There are 2 grocery stores on the island to supply you to cook in the gourmet kitchen. We brought our bikes and the 22 miles of bike trails are easy to access from this home. There is a family owned bike shop in Bokeelia that rents bikes if you can’t bring your own. The fishing is good on the south end of the island. There are also many parks on the island. This is an excellent home base for all of your island adventures.
