About this property
The Loovre Tiny House, as seen on TV!
About this space
The Loovre is a Grade II listed unique tiny home. Formerly an icecream parlour, and until the 1950's a Victorian Ladies Loo! Enjoy beautiful internal timber work and finishes, a light filled space, a private courtyard to the rear with a raised seating area to enjoy to view over the walls and fields beyond. Luxury bed linen and towels.
The property is superbly located in a quiet corner of the town centre and within (nearly on!) the Elizabethan Town Walls.
The space
Small but perfectly formed. The space has everything you need for comfortable stay. There is a fixed double bed with super deep and comfy mattress - so no messing with folding beds. A bathroom with shower. Kitchenette with small fridge, hob, microwave and cooking utensils. A fold down dining table. A small seating area with gorgeous everhot electric stove.
The finishes are all hand crafted - from the peg rails to the kitchen. A unique and unusual space. You won't find anther like it.
Guest access
The Loovre is 10 minutes walk (at most) from the mainline train station.
There is a courtyard at the rear of the Loovre if you want to bring your bikes. The gate is secured with a lock.
There is space to pause outside of the front of the Loovre with your car so you can drop off and pick up. Free public parking is available 2 minutes walk away at Coxons Lane car park and the Castlegate Long Stay car park.
Everything the town has to offer is within easy walking distance.
Other things to note
The windows in the property follow the original Victorian plan and are at a high level to all sides. They are part for the charm of the space and provide wonderful light during the daytime and at the same time afford total privacy due to their height. They don't have blinds or curtains so during daylight hours there will be light in the room. Eye masks are provided for light sleepers but if you need total darkness it might not be for you.
