Forget your worries in this spacious and serene 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo on the east end of St. Croix. It is located at The Reef in a gated community surrounded by a 9 hole golf/18 hole disc golf course. The steps up to the condo lead to a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea and Buck Island.
The well equipped kitchen features granite counter tops with a large peninsula. The open concept allows you to look out the livingroom windows at the gorgeous turquoise waters. We do have steps leading to the condo, as well as in the condo if that may be an issue for anyone.
The bedrooms feature new king beds with ensuite bathrooms, with a washer/dryer in the upstairs bedroom. Both bedrooms offer fantastic views of the ocean.
There are two private patios. The back patio has a gas grill. The front patio features a sitting/ dining area with a large umbrella for shade while enjoying your coffee/cocktails as you look out at the amazing shades of the sea, Buck Island and sailboats.
Walk out the back door and up to the large swimming pool in less than a minute. There is a pavilion next to the pool for shade and an expansive view of the sea and Buck Island.
Walking or driving down the hill leads to the beach equipped with lounging chairs for guests use. Right next to the beach is one of the island's favorite restaurants, Duggans Reef, always featuring fresh lobster. Nearby, you will see the tennis/pickle ball court. The golf pro shop has clubs and carts for rent, and is well stocked with beverages.
We are near Point Udall, the easternmost point of the United States. You will also find beautiful beaches nearby such as Isaac's and Jack's Bay, Smuggler's Cove, and Cramer's Park. All beaches on the island are public beaches. Besides Duggans Reef, we are a five minute drive to Grapetree restaurant featuring delicious pizza, steaks, and sushi.
You will also want to explore the island as there are so many fun things to do. Ziggy's is a favorite just down the road, with a gas station, convenience store, restaurant and bar. It's a fun friendly mix of locals and tourists with occasional live music and an excellent Sunday brunch.
The boardwalk in Christiansted is a must with restaurants next to the water and shops on the side streets. There are sailboat charters to take you to Buck Island for excellent snorkeling. The bioluminescent bay is an evening trip in kayaks. You will also want to take a drive in the rainforest to The Domino Club to feed the pigs some N/A beer. On the west end of the island is Frederiksted which boasts of great snorkeling and scuba diving next to the pier. There are restaurants with ocean views, with our favorites being Flyers and Louie & Nachos. The beaches are beautiful and calm. Just take a drive, enjoy, and keep left, as you drive on the left side of the road here.
