About this property
Gold Camp - 2 Cabins - 114 acres wooded serenity
Come enjoy these rustic cottages surrounded by nature on our 114 acre homestead in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Peaceful private forest setting.
Enjoy energizing walks, star gazing with the telescope, or our waterfall!
Kids love our obstacle course, tetherball, basketball and more!
Try your luck panning for gold - Finders Keepers!
Note: We typically use the red cabin as our second home and occasionally rent it out. You'll see some of our personal items around.
The space
The main cabin are about 100 yards apart.
The Green cabin:
Bedroom 1: 1 King
Bedroom 2: 1 King; 1 Queen
Living Room: Sofa Bed
1 Bathroom with stand-up shower
The Red cabin:
Bedroom 1: 1 Queen with ensuite
Full Bathroom (tub/shower)
Bedroom 2: 1 Queen
Bedroom 3: 1 Full
Full Bathroom
Two floor mattresses are available to put wherever you need. A pack n' play is also available.
Note, pets are allowed only in the green cabin (my wife is very allergic and stays in the red/tiny house cabins).
Other things to note
The last 1/2 mile to our house is a gravel road. Four wheel drive is 95% of the time NOT required (including during the winter). Your car may get a little dusty/muddy.
As you see in the location information, we are in a remote area. We have a basic general store 10 minutes away with essentials; while restaurants and other grocery are 30+ min away. We love our quiet location! Guests usually bring food with them and spend most of the time enjoying the property with maybe one or two jaunts to town for dinner or groceries.
We do have Wifi--but it is country Wifi. It works most of the time, but it's not perfect, especially in the winter. If you need flawless wifi for an important meeting, heavy video processing, or whatever, the library (25 drive) has the fastest wifi I've ever seen. If you're just streaming Netflix or doing small team video meetings, our internet here will serve you fine. ATT cell service works at the house. Others require a hike to the top of our hill to work.
We look forward to welcoming you!
