This home can sleep up to eight guests with its three bedrooms and two full baths. Upon entry, guests will step into the eat-in kitchen, furnished with the necessities to prepare and serve a tasty meal. Through the kitchen is the living area with cozy couches and a flat-screen television. DirecTV service is connected. From the living room guests can step through the sliding glass door out to the elevated wooden deck. There is an outdoor seating area with picnic table, as well as a propane grill. There is space for up to two vehicles in the driveway. The Island Club Pool is a short stroll from this unit. The Island Club at Put-in-Bay is the foremost leader in vacation home rentals. The advantages to staying in a home instead of a hotel are numerous. You have much more space, a full service kitchen and private bedrooms to enjoy with your group. Also, the communal areas will bring you closer to your friends and family. Remember to book your dates soon as many dates sellout.

Great place for a great price

Clean cabins with all the modern amenities. Any complaint was taken care of quickly. Love the location in the woods of South Bass Island. Will definitely stay there again

Great location. I took the miller ferry in. Walked up the hill got a taxi that took me right to my cabin where my golf cart was waiting. Called and got the keys. Everyone was so friendly and polite. We will be returning

Good for family getaways

We loved the seclusion of the Island Club. Was great to get away to this little community after roaming the island all day. We got the linen service, which I would highly advise, since bringing all the sheets & towels yourself can be a bit of a hassle on the ferries. Neighborhood is lively, and it was easy to rent a golf cart right on the property. Was great for teens. Pool was very busy on the holiday weekend, but still enjoyable for a dip. The only downside to the home was the floor not being as clean as we hoped—everyone wore their flip flops indoors, because it wasn’t clean enough to walk on the floor (made your feet dirty). Also, the whole place felt damp. Would definitely suggest a dehumidifier to avoid the soggy feeling on couches and bedspreads.

Reviewer Comments: I love staying here and the house itself was good but for what I paid I expected MUCH better....the table leg complete broke off (you can tell it was broke before and never fixed correctly), the toilet had issues (someone had to come fix it...), the dryer didn't work (we didn't know that till after we had WET washed one could fix it...), the refrigerator lights didn't work and all the shelving on the door were useless because all the shelf holders were missing

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay in the property wasn’t the best. It was simply just somewhere to sleep, however the beds were pretty uncomfortable. There were not enough pillows, only one per person. Our other complaint is that the property was not in the best condition. Lamps were broken, the one bathroom sink and tub was clogged, and the overall condition of the house was not clean. It also only had 2 mirrors in the whole place so getting ready with a house full of women was less than ideal. We would not stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited PIB for the first time and loved it so much that we came back as soon as possible. Island Club has a great location and the grounds are pretty well kept. The inside of our two homes- meh, not so much. Clearly, cleanliness is not a priority and this may be due to a lack of staff (COVID related). At least one of the maintenance men confided in us that they are short handed and all of them overworked. He apologized for not being able to fix a few issues (none of which were deal killers). At both homes, we arrived to find garbage not changed. The neighbor home (checking in at the same time next to me) had beer cans strewn about his deck. I told him that we had a similar experience. The homes are older with their own quirks (doors that don't close or have working locks). There is plenty of evidence that no one really sweeps much (move any furniture, lift any cushion, etc. You will see what I mean. Surely no one would be sanitizing for COVID if they can't even clean up. That being said, we didn't have expectations of a 5-star resort- this feels more like staying in a cabin and we were basically OK with that. Just keep your expectations low would be my advice. We did better the second time around and brought our own utensils and paper plates (etc), spatulas, and such. Also, I had to call to get our golf cart rental that was supposed to be there at check in; it was not. Then again- neither was the neighbor's. He had to call and get his too. They are run rather haphazardly. HOWEVER- I would return if the price was fair. I just know not to expect to find my home clean. *NOTE* They charge $103 as a security deposit, and refund $100. This was not a mistake because they did this twice. It's only three dollars- not a big deal at all, but with zero explanation of why, it makes for an unnecessary minor annoyance.

Homes were in a quiet neighborhood. That’s the only good thing I have to say about the place. Unit 54 was run down to say the least. Floors were so dirty you couldn’t walk in your bare feet or they would get black. So many things damaged I stopped taking pictures. There was no broom or vacuum cleaner to be found. Door shelves in the refrigerator didn’t have retainer bars only Duct Tape! Bathroom fan didn’t work. Some door casings and baseboard missing. Renter beware!

Reviewer Comments: The beds are very uncomfortable, there were ants in the living room area (should of known with bug spray in the closet), the refrigerator did not have the fronts on the door shelves to be able to use the shelves. Arrived at 1:30 and was told to call to see if we could get in early but i was told that housekeeping was not there yet. The door was unlocked, and i was told they would call me when we are able to get in. Asked that the golf carts i ordered be brought over and they were but we stayed at the cabin on the front deck WAITING for housekeeping which never showed. I called back at 3 and was told that they were there, and i even said... oh housekeeping showed and was told yes. But we never left the area and nobody showed. The plates in the cabinet had puddles of water on them so never dried, wonder if they were even washed so before using we washed everything we used. 1 bathroom had no toilet paper. At 5am security took off with one of the golf carts with 2 people on it and then came back with 1 person, not sure why they were taking the cart when we still had use of them. Then placed a zip tie on the cart for whatever reason.

Reviewer Comments: Overall the place was nice but I did find a cigarette on the window seal in my room and the curtain rod kept falling down any time I’d brush against it slightly. My biggest complaint is that we had a ton of tiny ants all over the sink and counter. It was bad. I sprayed the ant killer underneath the sink to try and help. I had to throw away a container of cookies that they somehow got into.
