This home has three bedrooms and two baths with sleeping for up to ten guests. The side entrance has a convenient coded door lock, eliminating the hassles of keys. Inside, guests find a washer and dryer on their way to the equipped kitchen. Pack some of your favorite eats and make a tasty meal for you and your group. The living area features a seating area with flat-screen television with satellite service. Two sliding glass doors provide ample natural lighting and are exits to the brick patio. Another sliding door off the dining area leads to the rear wooden deck. A propane grill and picnic table are ready for your great cookout. This home can accommodate up to two vehicles in the onsite driveway. There are golf carts available, which are the best way to see all of Put-in-Bay. You can enjoy the comforts of home while on vacation at the Island Club. From business retreats to bachelor parties, this is the place to accommodate any group on Put-in-Bay. It is strongly encouraged to book early, as many dates fill fast.
The weekends at Put in Bay Ohio are popular for the nightlife and getting away from the daily work grind without going too far from home. Not worth the money

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The communication was great...they communicated well on check in time, check procedures. However, for what we paid I think the place could have been a little more updated and well maintained. There was a previous hole on the wall looks like had been covered up but it was not done very well it was atleast 3feet, there was paint splatter all over the place our bathroom the toilet paper roll holder have been torn off the wall. We also rented our golf clubs from the island club rental as well and the maintenance guy was very rude to me and our seatbelt did not work and my niece ended up falling out of the golf cart due to this issue.

Nice place to stay on Put in Bay

Reviewer Comments: My sister and I, and our two families (with four school aged kids between us), stayed here for two nights during the week to take advantage of lower prices and avoid the crowds. It was great. The management was very responsive to all of my questions before hand and all of our needs while we were there. The place was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, and it was nice having the pool. Would definitely choose again next time! Also, we love Put in Bay; we have a long history here. This time we tried something different - parasailing. It was so fun! And a sunset pizza party at the state park located right near the island club. Beautiful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the house was good and the house size as well. The cleanliness of the house however wasn’t the greatest. There was a dead cockroach in one bathroom on the floor and a dead earwig on the kitchen floor. The master bathroom door jam had about 4-5 inches of mold up the side of it and the sliding door curtains were also water stained/dirty. I understand from the note that foreign exchange students were being used to clean the property, so I’m guessing spot checks by the owners were not being done. I also understand from the set up it seems the more common renters are younger kids there to party as a group, but it should still be clean well each time. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay on the island and plan to visit again in warmer weather, but will probably find another rental.

Nightmare at Island Club #106

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Though the staff we encountered was pleasant and friendly, the rental itself was less than satisfactory. Upon entry the unit appeared to be clean. However it was far from clean. The kitchen was literally infested with ants. The pictures shown of the unit were slightly off. The 3 white bar chairs was false. Only 1 chair tall enough to sit at the island, and 1 table sized chair that was useless for sitting at the island. We cooked most of our meals in the unit. Upon removing dishes to use we started coming across dirty dishes. One of the skillets still had whatever had been cooked from previous renters left in it. The picnic table in the front was rather wobbly and we chose not to use it. Waking the 2nd day and starting out with coffee and some breakfast the kitchen drawers were less than satisfactory. There was an overnight visitor that didn't get invited to our stay, left droppings all over the utensils, silverware and in every drawer in kitchen. I removed everything cleaned all the drawers washed all the utensils and then started the day. This happened every night. The patio door handle out back was broken. There was clothing found behind one of the beds that was not any of ours. The kitchen table had only 4 chairs and the table was terribly warped. All this was reported to the lady driving the Red truck and I assumed they would come address some of the issues, such as ants, mice problems and the broken door handle. Noone ever showed up. We rented a golf cart for 2days at $70. A day so a small discount on the cart rental was it. Very disappointing. We had 4 children all under 12 and 5 adults and found that dinner or any meal together was not really possible with the provided accommodations.

Wonderful experience for the most part. No oven mits, salt and pepper, or basically anything in the kitchen/bathrooms for us to use immediately. Also master bathroom had a panel consistently falling off the side of the jacuzzi tub (i think it was for maintenance?) and the toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall. Other than the minor things, it was a great stay for our annual trip

Great place for a weekend get away

My only hang up was it was difficult to see the cabins numbers when we arrived after sundown. Oh and also have the passcode and cabin number pulled up before you arrive because it is very much a dead zone for your cell phone.

Cabin #106

We were assigned Cabin #2 and upon arriving knew it was unsuitable for us - right between the complex entrance and main road. We were moved immediately. The location of cabin #106 was very nice. The back was wooded and quite private. The cabin was clean and reasonably furnished. We saw staff picking up trash along the street but the cabin's back yard had beer cans and trash in it and that was not addressed. We found several issues with the cabin (e.g. missing light bulbs, broken door) but as soon as we called, staff arrived and corrected them. Some of the downsides: The shower was too small for me (5'3", size 8 woman). There were no towel bars in the bathrooms, minimal lighting throughout the cabin; no screens on doors and windows. The cleaning staff didn't check dishes - they were dirty and wet. There was a dishwasher but no detergent and no kitchen towels - wish we'd known to bring. Given our experience, we would recommend the facility to young friends or families but not to friends seeking quiet and comfort.Put-n-Bay is lovely and while golf carts are the primary mode of transportation, you can take a car anywhere on the island. We got good advice at the town visitors center about restaurants and we were very satisfied, particularly with the Put-n-Bay Brewery. We also especially enjoyed the Doller house tour.

Great cabin for a group of friends

Two of the sliding doors were difficult to operate but it sounded like these were being replaced very soon after speaking with management. Everyone that I spoke with from Island Club Rentals was great to work with and made every process easy. We also rented a golf cart through them and had the same great experience. Would definitely stay with Island Club again.

One window needs repair and one of the sliding doors needs repair. May flies were awful. Pool was great. No wifi service.
