Amazing Location

Although there was not enough snow to really ski heavenly, my family had a blast staying in this condo at this location in South Shore. Very close to a lot of action, casinos, restaurants, but best of all, it’s only 50 yards to the blue waters of Tahoe. The highlight was watching my son run down the pier and do a flip into freezing Lake Tahoe.

Great rustic vacation home

The place is nicely updated and very comfortable. Location is amazing with a partial lake view and easy access to the pool and beach. There is no a/c, so on hot days and especially arrival day it can be a bit warm until night. Opening windows is a must. Sleeping arrangements are a bit odd with only one bedroom having a queen bed. Other rooms have 2 doubles or twins in the same room. Also be aware that bears are regular visitors to the complex so I would not suggest walking at night. Overall a great place and we had a great time. Would definitely go back.

Location of condo was a plus. Parking lot surfaces need improving as well as some walkways. Condo itself is somewhat outdated. There were no instructions for the fireplace and turning the switch to “on” did not help. The door lock code is too long and would often timeout. Beach lounge chairs could use a refresh or at least a good cleaning.

Great location and super spacious!

I’d definitely recommend this property! Lots of space inside and nice back deck that is feet away from the pool and the beach. Check in was super easy and while we had an issue with the electronic door lock, the Vacasa people helped immediately to find a solution. Only cons I would say is that the downstairs (master) bath has a slatted door…which I could understand for a laundry room, but not a bathroom. All of the knives were dull and the coffee maker was slimy. I had to wash it before we could use it and even then, there were pieces broken on it which made it awkward to use. The paperwork inside the condo says that there is a shuttle that runs daily, but we asked the front desk and they said the shuttle hasn’t been in operation for years. Regardless of some of the minor issues, we would still totally stay here again!

Beautiful location! But in MAJOR need of updates!

Really close proximity to the beautiful lake. Access to a pool and hot tub. Unit had plenty of space and privacy if you are traveling with numerous families. Overall unimpressed with how out of date the unit was considering the price. Felt like falling back into the 70s. Couch and pillows should be thrown out and furniture needs to be replaced. Kitchen was dirty and not inviting to cook in (with old, dirty dishes) broken bar stools. Not very well lit. Floors felt impossible to keep clean ( constantly were sweeping). Owners should readjust either the decor/ unit or the price. My family and I travel often to Tahoe, as well as other places, and are not the type to complain at all. But it just felt disappointing to show up too and stay in.

Lots of issues but a nice location

Pros: Nice location looking over pool and lake. Attractive wooded setting among rows of townhouses. Nicely remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. Cons: The entryway, parking lot, and pathways were closed and/or torn up due to unreported active Construction. When we arrived to the provided address, we were unable to enter the property due to road/entrance closure with no detour route provided. I was woken unexpectedly the first morning by a phone call from a property agent alerting me to move my car to allow for lot paving. There were no notifications or posted warnings this would be necessary. The shag carpet in the unit was heavily stained, crusty, and shaven in places. An eye sore and possible health hazard. The hvac filter located in the master bath was filthy and caused the hvac unit to loudly strain under the strain. The refrigerator did not maintain proper temp. Maintenance arrived on day 3 to clean coils and provide a mini fridge. The walls, doors and baseboards were marred, scratched, scuffed, and showed feable repair attempts - much in need of refinishing or replacement. The lake side pool was closed for maintenance our entire stay, yet no one ever informed us before or during our stay. That amenity was listed, expected, but never provided. All in all, not worth the $500 all in per night. Too many hassles to provide a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Spacious with Lake View

We really enjoyed staying at this condo for the spaciousness and location within the resort. With 3 bedrooms plus a loft as well as 3 full bathrooms, our family could really spread out. Multiple people could shower at the same time and the hot water never seemed to run out. There were plenty of dishes, cups, and kitchen utensils provided for a large family so we didn't have to run the dishwasher so often. The heater worked really well. There is a gas stove which most units don't have, and the gas fireplace was also really nice. There is so much storage and lots of places to put your personal belongings so they're not in the way. The place is very clean and up to date, as well. All of these things are what we like for ski condo rentals. The views from the patio are of the pool and lake. The pool itself isn't very scenic, but the views of the lake and the mountains in the distance can be seen from the living room and dining room. We loved opening up the curtains and blinds and enjoying the views every day. The condo is also less than 1 minute walk to the lake from the patio. The only minor issues we had with the condo itself is that some of the mattresses need to be replaced because they seemed a bit too soft from age. It was a little hard to adjust the vent in two of the bedrooms because the little knobs seemed stuck. Also the front door would stick sometimes but I think it was due to the wet weather. But these are really minor issues that barely bothered us. We would definitely stay here again.
