Beautiful area and the cabin was as advertised - simple and rustic but well made. I note that it was not clear from the Expedia site that the cabin was part of a small resort (Half Moon Lake Resort) with a nice lodge that was a plus.
Beautiful property, hope to visit again. Only issue was there was a family in the adjacent unit who had very loud toddlers shrieking and running around, which the parents didn’t even try to keep in check, so we were awoken at 6:15am; had hoped to sleep soundly to 8 am. Not very pleasant way to start the day.
The cabin was great however it was the owner and staff that took it to the next level for us!! Christine is an amazing human that saves horses from slaughter houses. I and my fiance road two of those horses ( Tank and Abby ) and they were such sweet beings and without Christine we wouldn't have the privilege to ride.
The restaurant was top notch with not only amazing food but the staff was beyond AMAZING!!
We can't wait to come back this August!
Thank you again for such unforgivable memories!
