Exceptional Location and Privacy:
** Lake-front lots tend to be very small and cramped. Are you tired of sharing your vacation with the rowdy group staying just a few feet away next door?
** Our property is situated on a triple-wide lot with 75 ft of open space on either side
** Located on the Colorado Arm of LBJ, deep and wide channel and just minutes from Kingsland restaurants and shopping
** Very popular area for Ski/Surf and Tubing watersports due to good wind breaks and less boat traffic and congestion

Lake Activities and Watersports:
** We provide non-motorized boats that can easily be launched from the boat dock - 2 kayaks and 2 Stand-up Paddleboards
** Bringing your own boat? The boat dock has slips and lifts for ski boats, pontoon boats and jet skis. There's a boat launch in the neighborhood and plenty of room to park your trailers at the house

** No tiny splash pools here! We have 2 full-size pools connected by a 12 ft waterfall and a secluded spa with room for 8 adults

This newly-built 2020 home has 5,600 sqft of indoor living space and 1,500+ square feet of outdoor living space across multiple patios/seating areas, complete with super comfy, outdoor furniture. There's also a built-in limestone fire pit (propane-provided) with 6 Adirondack chairs, overlooking the beautiful scenery. The outdoor kitchen is fully outfitted with a Fire Magic gas grill and side burner/Power Burner that can handle any shrimp/crawfish boil. There's a sink, under-counter refrigerator and plenty of counter space for all those BBQ meat trays!

Inside you'll find 5 spacious bedrooms (including 3 master suites with king-size beds and a fun bunk room for the kids). What makes this property unique is the unobstructed panoramic views of the Upper Colorado River, situated across from a completely undeveloped ranch where black angus cattle roam everyday. Amazing Property

This property was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our multi-generational family to enjoy our annual lake vacation. We brought our jetski and our son brought his boat and the kids and grandkids enjoyed hours of fun on the lake. The younger grandkids enjoyed playing in the pool - which was (unlike our pool at home) cool, despite the 102 degree weather. Everyone agreed it was the best lake property we've ever rented and we all want to return next year.

Best trip ever!

Group of 17enjoyed wonderful home with all the trimmings. Teenagers enjoyed pool and kayaks along with shuffleboard and pool table. Lots of room and kitchen inside and out well stocked. We have rented many homes on LBJ and this is a definite 10.

Incredible experience

As many others have stated in their reviews this is probably the best VRBO home we have ever stayed in to date. Spacious, unique, clean, excellent sleeping arrangements, well stocked kitchen, timely communication… nothing to critique. Our group is already discussing a return visit.

2023 Lake Getaway

This property was flawless. We’ve been renting houses at LBJ on the river for the last 7 years and this one is the best yet. The house is spacious, clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor area is great - outfitted with grill, pools and awesome dock. We will definitely be back.

Nothing short of AMAZING!

I came across this property when a different property we had booked was suddenly sold and we were left scrambling for a new Vacay home. Ended up being super thankful because this is the absolute best lake house we have ever had the pleasure of staying in! And it’s been quite a few! The best hosts! Super clean! Wonderful set up for all ages! Looking forward to many return visits!

Great Lake house

Loved the pools, the house, the grounds, the dock. Very thoughtfully arranged and we appreciated not having to bring our own salt and pepper, paper towels, tp, kitchen staples. The granddaughters wanted to move in for good.

BEST Memorial Day Family time!

I wish there ratings above 5 to give to our Hosts Wendy and Rusty, and to their warm, welcoming, STUNNING place on Lake LBJ!! From the moment we booked our stay and we knew we were in a very special and beautiful place! The attention and detail to making Guests feel comfortable and take care of was above and beyond anything I’ve experienced in my many VRBO trips. The beds were so comfortable we all wanted to duplicate them at our own homes. The kitchen and outdoor grill area had everything we needed to create incredible meals. Right on the water was the dock with several Covered areas to just be together in comfort and upscale tables chairs and tvs. Two pools, a fire pit, a hot tub, game room, ping pong table, paddle boards, kayaks, lounge chairs pool side…..it was hard to decide what to enjoy! And enjoy we did! Beautifully decorated…everything high end in each room….no one wanted to go home! I’ve rented quite a few VRBO’s, and this was truly one of the most outstanding places I’ve ever stayed with my family! You couldn’t ask for more communicative, warm, helpful, and welcoming hosts! Can’t wait to be back next year….because my family and I will NEVER forget our experience here! Love Love Love

Family Reunion at beautiful property

Great rental on the lake

very positive review all around. Wendy & Rusty were very helpful and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We had 15 adults that comftorable fit in the house. All the furniture is very nice and new, so this doesn't feel like your ordinary rental - it's very cosy and feels like a friends lakehouse

Fabulous Multi-generational Vacation House

This property was fantastic! We used it for a multi-generation vacation and it had something for everyone. We loved the outdoor space and spent most of our time outside. The views are amazing. The house was well stocked and everything has been nicely labeled for easy use.

Property is even better in person!

We are a group of 17 and we take yearly trips to spend time with our friends. The property was well maintained and just beautiful. Teens and Kids were all very pleased with the number of activities they could do and adults also enjoyed plenty of chatting time. We would love to return some time soon.

This property and its owners did not disappoint in any way. Everything was beyond my expectations. The owners have everything so organized. I loved that everything in the house was labeled! The communication from the owners was sent to me before I needed it. I never had to ask for anything. The property was beautiful and the most stocked I have ever seen. The House Exceeded our HIgh Expectations!

My review cannot do this property enough justice. The house was truly spectacular, and it was the ideal setting for our family's lake trip. Our party was made up of my wife, myself, our three adult daughters and husbands and three grandchildren (16, 15 and 18 months). There are so many outstanding features to the home but perhaps most important was that there were five bedrooms - each with it's own bathroom. Each bedroom also had large TVs with DirectTV and streaming capability. That is a great feature! The dining table was able to seat all of us for each meal (11 counting the baby's booster). The upstairs living area was spacious and there was comfortable seating for all 10 of us at the same time for Movie Night, karaoke and video games. This space was where we spent half of our time. The other half was outside enjoying the great pool area. The very shallow area was perfect for the toddler and the adults enjoyed moving between the hot tub, large upper pool and the lower pool with built in barstools. The grill was first-class, and we grilled for three of our meals. Wendy and Rusty are outstanding hosts. There are many small details that add extra value: in the kitchen there are dual trash draws. They are located below food prep areas and help make clean-up a snap. The bar area has a dedicated icemaker. Near the pool area there is easy bathroom access, so you don't have to go all the way inside just to use the facilities. Don't overlook the wonderful landscaping. It was all well thought-out and well cared for. The property is located far enough up the Colorado arm that there isn't much boat traffic. On weekdays you may feel as if you are on a private lake. Across from the property there is only pasture. The view across to enjoy the sunset is unobscured and we took advantage of that every evening. This was without question the finest lake property we have rented, and we gladly will look forward to another stay. Thank you Wendy and Rusty for your hospitality!

A little piece of paradise

This house/property was incredible! We take an annual family lake trip and this house was a perfect fit! From the littles to my grandma we all loved the house! The outside and inside both were so comfy and had the most gorgeous views! We have a large family and it fit everyone perfectly and never felt crowded! If you are looking for an extra special place for your family look no further! We can’t wait to come back again next year!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND PERFECT

I can't say enough how awesome the process of renting this house was from start to finish. The listing and the pictures looked amazing and getting to speak with Rusty a few times before, during and after our stay were super helpful. While I was in love with the house after seeing the photos and video, I was (as were all of the guests) still WOWed by the house and the property. Every detial was not only accounted for but also impeccably done. Both the indoor and the outdoor space was exactly what my friends and I were looking for. It was such an amazing stay that we will most likely be booking this house again next year. Thank you Rusty!

UNBELIEVABLE !!!!

This property is totally UNBELIEVABLE!!! We had 10 adults and 3 kids with plenty of room for all. The amenities and specialties of this property are awesome. Cleanliness, comfort and entertainment were over the top. Outside amenities were equally as fascinating as the inside ones!! The experience of this house was amazing and we highly recommend everyone try.

More than Expected!

So clean. High-end furniture, mattresses, dishes, etc. More than expected. The house is the lodging AND the entertainment. We renting jet skis and a boat, never had to leave the property. Can't wait for next time! One thing to consider- yes, it sleeps a lot of people, but not privately- the rooms are set up to have people sleeping in common areas, or sharing a bedroom...

Family Vacation

Property is very nice with plenty of space. we spent a lot of time in the pool above, then in the lower pool with the water cascading down a waterfall from the upper pool. The outdoor kitchen is well equipped, and there is something for everyone, from table tennis, foosball, or just relaxing in one of the multiple areas available. One of the nice things about this property is there are no homes across the water, and the boat traffic is much lighter than other areas where we have stayed.
