About this property
Escape to the Beach for an Oceanfront Weekend Getaway
Great location just steps from the 2-mile boardwalk and soft sandy beach on the north end of Seaside Heights with off-street parking for 2 cars. Welcome to Fall at the Jersey Shore where fresh air and seagulls abound and the ocean & boardwalk beckon. This is the perfect spot to get away from it all. Fall has plenty of warm days, yet the crisp air makes it the perfect climate for walkers, runners and cyclists to take advantage of the 2-mile Seaside boardwalk (4 miles round-trip). Also, the ocean break at Seaside Heights north end makes it a great destination for surfers at this time of the year and anyone who just loves the ocean, collecting shells and relaxing.
Take in the ocean & boardwalk view from your wrap around deck or sit back and unwind in your comfortable, open floor plan living room flooded with natural sunlight. From sunrise to sunset the daylight pours in through sliding glass doors and double-wide windows surrounding the living space. If you’re up early, you will enjoy memorable sunrises right from your beach house. You'll also have wonderful views of the Casino Pier Ferris Wheel, which when lit is spectacular at night! High-speed internet is available if you want to remotely work from the beach house.
The upper-level home accommodates six, offering a lovely master bedroom with a king bed and sliding glass doors to the deck with privacy shutters and 45" TV. The newly appointed second bedroom has a queen bed with soothing color decor and both ocean and Ferris Wheel views. There are also queen- and full-size sleeper sofas in the living room, with Samsung 50" Crystal UHD TV, DVD Player (with selection of DVDs), Echo/Alexa with streaming Amazon music unlimited, under a vaulted ceiling along with a gas fireplace for romantic, cozy evenings. The home has a fully equipped kitchen with icemaker and dining area with seating for six plus additional seating for four at the movable kitchen island. There is one full bathroom with a brand-new oversized tiled, dual head shower and an additional half bath with laundry. During the fall seasons, linens are provided if you’d like to use them (sheets, towels, mattress pads, blankets, and pillows). You can also bring your own if you prefer. There is also a Weber BBQ grill, which is shared with the lower-level home on property.
During Fall 2024 the Seaside boardwalk is quieting down from a busy summer season and is still open for business on the weekends. You can walk over and check out a variety of restaurants, shops, games, and treats like ice cream, water ice, pizza, sausage sandwiches, cheese steaks, saltwater taffy, candy apples and more. The Barnegat Bay is just a few blocks away, where you can fish and watch beautiful sunsets. Island Beach State Park is only a few miles away if you want to experience the island in its natural, undeveloped beauty. Or just stay put and relax in the newly renovated beach home with off street parking for 2 cars.
Be sure to visit the exit 82 website for the latest availability of entertainment and attractions.
Note: Seaside Heights is about to have its Grand Opening of the Boardwalk Carousel Museum between Sampson and Carteret Avenues! The brand-new attraction will house the fully restored Dentzel/Looff Carousel, which was built in 1910 and moved to Seaside Heights in 1932. It is one of four remaining wooden carousels in New Jersey, and will be one of about 150 operating in the United States. SSH License # 986

About the host
Hosted by Ruth Killeen

Hello travelers! I am a jersey shore native who grew up near Belmar (Exit 98) and have always loved the beach and boardwalk. I take great pride in my Seaside Heights beach house, which was fully renovated after superstorm Sandy. I work in north jersey, so the good news for you is the beach house is available for travelers. I manage the property myself with an eye to details and personally hire locals to address all maintenance needs.
Why they chose this property
This is a beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated home that is owner-maintained with attention to details. I am a premier host and my goal is that every guest has a terrific experience. High Speed Internet makes this a wonderful spot for remote working. Visit our property this Fall season for a relaxing getaway with Great Ocean Views!
What makes this property unique
