About this property

Oasis getaway - all season getaway, private community Winni Beach and mountains.

Drop your bags at this dream all-season getaway and let the fun / relaxation begin! Suissevale - private community of homes on the northern shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. 2500 foot private family friendly waterfront/beach area (.6 miles away with private community parking). Castle In The Clouds 4 miles away, 20 mins Meredith & Wolfeboro, 35 mins to Laconia, 45 mins North Conway, 45 mins Gunstock & Gilford.
Beach, Swimming, Hiking, Boating, Fall foliage, Skiing, Mini-golf, etc.

The home has 3 cozy bedrooms each with queen beds. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. Vaulted ceiling andh skylights bring in a lot of natural light. At the home you will find everything you need to cook wonderful meals in the kitchen as well as a propane bar-b-q, and outdoor picnic area with umbrella, a fire-pit and of course a deck to relax, read a good book and perhaps enjoy some cocktails.

There is an additional 2nd floor queen bed in the loft, as well as a trundle bed (2 twins, one up and one that sits closer to the floor) in 1st floor *unheated* enclosed porch, which also serves as the main entrance and mud room for the home. The unheated porch can be more private as it has a door separating it from the main home/family room. The loft and porch offers great flexibility for different sleeping arrangements or whatever you like (game night, office, reading a book, etc.). Both the loft and porch areas have a comfortable desk and are great office spaces when needed with high speed internet. Reminder, the porch is unheated so not for sleeping in the colder months.

Reminder so no confusion: 3 private bedrooms, plus a loft and an unheated porch are the sleeping areas. A total of 4 queen beds plus 2 singles from a trundle bed. In cold weather, you will not be wanting to use the un-heated porch area with the 2 singles. So take that all into account when planning your sleeping arrangements. Guests cannot use the wood stove for safety and insurance reasons.

Happy to assist with any questions to make sure all guests are super comfortable. We can accommodate long stays greater than 3 weeks with an additional rental agreement and government issued photo ID’s of each guest.

Memorial Day thru Labor Day you will receive a special parking permit for our community members-only beach that I have to pay and register for. It allows 1 car or 1 motorcycle to park at the beach.

**Please be aware** our home association does not allow access to our beach for renters on “Saturdays-only” during the summer months. All other months are fine. Feel free to contact me if any concerns. Other public beaches not far.

Although our member beach is only .6 miles away, there are a few “big” hills to get there. While it is a wonderful walk, we highly recommend a car unless you enjoy vigorous hilly walks and are not carrying much. I walk to the beach frequently but most guests and people living here drive - it’s just a lot easier. There is a newly built public restroom at the beach.

Note that our home is not setup to accommodate infants safely. Guests may not use the inside wood stove for liability and safety concerns.

We love animals, however, there are absolutely no pets allowed. And no smoking inside or anywhere on the property (e.g. the deck, lawn, etc).

No central AC, but each of the 3 bedrooms has a portable AC unit available as well as a window fan for you to use as needed. And there is a ceiling fan in the main living space above the family room.

There is plenty of space for cars to park and a boat/trailer at the home.

Our community beach area has a boat launch that you can use. States Landing is super close, also has a larger and easier boat launch as well as a very small public beach (town sticker required to park).

The master bedroom walk-in closet, and the basement (except for the washer and dryer), are private and not for guests.

**Please be aware there is a shooting range that although not at all close to the house, echos through the community. It is not super loud and it really does not bother us at all. No concerns from many previous guests. But you will definitely hear it. Please consider that ahead of time before you decide to rent as this is not something we can control.

Comfortable and Convenient

Our stay in Moultonborough was great. We had a family wedding at the nearby Castle in the Clouds and the property was a great place to gather family both for the wedding and also to explore the lakes region. The house was clean and comfortable and provided plenty of space for family to gather. David was a great host. We hope to stay again in the future and I recommend that others consider staying here too!

Beautiful Lake home

Our family had a great stay over Memorial Day weekend. The home was beautiful and well taken care of. We had plenty of room. There are three bedrooms with a queen bed in each, as well as an additional queen bed upstairs in the loft/ office area. There is also a trundle bed in the enclosed porch. The master bedroom is upstairs and has master bathroom which was a plus. Lake Winnepasaukee is beautiful. The beach was just a short drive away. Our granddaughters had such a great time in the water and playing at the beach. We had a few questions during our stay and contacted David. He was easy to get in touch with, responsive and very helpful. We would love to stay again.

About the host

Hosted by David Gould

Host profile image
Grew up in Needham Mass and spent time with family around Moultonboro and Meredith for many summers. I still live in Mass but also get to live the dream of owning a place in this gorgeous area and sharing it with others. I love hosting, and making your stay fun and enjoyable. My place is not a full time high turnover rental. It is my home-away-from-home. So you can expect it to feel that way. We use it ourselves quite a lot and you will love it! Enjoy, Dave

Why they chose this property

It is the center of everything, in all seasons, yet you feel like you are secluded. Incredible hiking, and outdoor activities from golf to mini-golf, boating, kayaking, skiing and more. So many amazing towns nearby that each have their own distinct vibe. You can go old school with outdoor arcades/food and public beaches, and old country store, to upscale shopping and eating. Hop on over to a local distillery, wine tasting or just relax at the beach and then head back home for a bar-b-q and fire-pit with s'mores. The list goes on and I would be delighted to give you some suggestions to make your stay amazing.

What makes this property unique

The Suissevale community is well known as a great get away destination and unique one of a kind beach on the lake. My home is not a fast turn-over rental. It is our home-away-from-home. And it will feel like a home to you. Very private with a large front yard. The loft style makes it very open with lots of light and windows to the outdoors. Moultonborough close to so many different unique areas around the lake, It is perfectly located for any activity you can think of. Our home is a great place to relax and do nothing, or be busy with something new every moment of the day and night.
